My second pair

Wore out my cargo overpants and wanted a replacement. My first pair is still holding up after 2 years, bought a second one with bigger size as my overpants, fits well and keeps me warm in the morning even at 42 degrees.

Love these pants

There is only one flaw I have come across and that's after a yr of owning them, the button popped off then a few weeks later the zipper came off line. I have not gained weight since owning them and have worn them as casual pants on top of ride time.I'm not sure if anyone has also come across these issues or if it is just me. But I still love these pants and will rebuild.

Excursion Kevlar Cargo Pants

I did what the other recommenders advised, order a size up. Well the pants are a size too big, even after washing and drying

good pants but bad sizing

I wear a 34-30 and ordered these in 36-30. Glad I did. The waste fits well but they feel baggy everywhere else like a 36 would. Still I'm going to wear them for long rides. They are also a lot warmer than regular pants. Would be good for riding in 60 degree weather.

Great pants for the money

Considering how easy it is to spend hundreds on pants, these are a great buy. True fit, very comfortable and not to hot given the extra Kevlar protection. Well worth the money

AGV Sport Excursion Kevlar Cargo Pants

Great riding pants! They are very well constructed. However, I would order one size larger than you normally wear. The appearance is excellent.

Just what I was looking for.

Took advice of some and ordered a size larger (normal for me 32/30). The 34/32's washed and dryer dried once gave a slightly relaxed fit in waist which I liked (sometimes worn over other gear/clothes)- perfect. Good finish and durability and thicker than expected which gives the pants more all around use. Liked the features best: relaxed fit with large cargo pockets (and Kevlar!). Constructed well and worth the money.

Great, but they really shrink.

Softer than I expected from the reviews. Cargo pockets are a bit low. I would not consider these pants for very hot rides (>90 F) But the BIG THING: watch out, they SHRINK when you wash them as prescribed (low-temp, low-dry). I bought 36s, washed them, and they shrunk to about 32! Buy one size up. Wash in cold water. Hang to dry. I can't really rate durability yet, as I've not gone on many rides wearing them. By the way, return service from MSS was superb!

Kevlar Cargo Pants

After getting used to the slightly heavier gauge I realized this is great gear. They are comfortable and the right gauge materials to both protect and deflect high-speed winds. The looks are good enough for casual wear to work and as the temperature decreases this fall I don't need to wear outer gear. I will likely buy another color.

Great pants!

These pants are great! Very comfortable and Kevlar lined in all the right places. They are baggy, which I like and the fit is true in the waist measurements, but slightly long in the leg which is good when I'm on the bike. Very Important: Machine wash cold and hang dry, do not machine/tumble dry these pants, they will shrink a lot and you won't be able to fit in them again.

Way too Skinny

These pants are great! Durable, good link and the whole 9. Just ONE MAJOR ISSUE!!! The thigh, waist and crotch are not made for people with bigger legs. I'm 6'0 240lbs with strong legs and I was losing circulation.

Excellent pants!

After riding many miles in these pants, I am completely satisfied with them. They are made of a heavy fabric with Kevlar reinforcement, so they provide basic protection. They are comfortable, not too heavy, and have been fine in temperatures ranging from the 50's to the low 90's. They look nice enough to wear into decent restaurants. I was worried about the sizing but I ordered the upper end of what I usually wear (34x30) and these pants fit me perfectly for riding.

Sizing is completely messed up

I ordered a pair of these (36" waist), but they were sized like 34" so I returned them and ordered 38". They were true-to-size, and thus way to big for me so I returned them as well. Either the 36" pair was actually a mislabeled 34", or they have terrible quality control with their sizing.

Good pants but they can be better.

The material is thick and for me it's fine but in traffic you may melt. There are optional knee pads that you can buy but they are difficult to find on the site. 1 $10 set is all you need because they can be interchanged. I wish there were more colors. Because the material is thick, it's easily wrinkled. Some wrinkle free fabric would fix that. The fit is exactly like any other pair of normal pants I wear and are perfect. What made them baggy was the silly pockets on the legs.
