Product Information

AGV Sport Solare Vented Textile Pants

The all black color may not show it but the Solare Vented Textile Pant is especially suited for rides in hot weather. Large mesh panels are featured on both the front and back of the legs and on the inside there is more mesh material with a full mesh lining. However, while airflow is excellent protection is far from poor with integrated hip pads, CE knee armor and plenty of reflective piping. And to keep the fit in check, AGV Sport has gone for two waist adjustment straps and stretch material around the knees.
  • 100% 600-D polyester strengthened woven textile and mesh pant for durability and comfort
  • Full mesh lining
  • CE approved knee pads
  • 10mm thick memory foam hips and lower back pad
  • Mesh panels on the front and rear of the upper leg for maximum cooling on hot days
  • Reflective piping is used on the outside of each leg for safety
  • Heavy duty seam construction for maximum tear resistance
  • World famous YKK zippers
  • Zip open lower legs
  • Extra long zipper pulls are used on all zippers
  • Velcro® brand closure secured flap over the fly
  • Two front hand warmer pockets
  • Adjustable Velcro® brand closure waist tabs
  • Waist connection zipper for jacket attachment
  • Available in standard or short inseam
  • Item # 29939

Agv sport pants

Great deal for money. I am 6, 195 and xlarge just fits. Knee armor and hip pads stay in place. Used in 80 -90 degrees and are very comfortable. Well worth the 100 bucks!

AGV- Solare Mesh pants

I wear a 34" waist, 32" inseam and needed an XL to fit well, the L was too short and tight in the thighs. I thought the XL legs were too short because the knee armour rode up on my thigh but then realized I could adjust them as the pockets have Velcro in the top and bottom of the pocket to move the armor up or down. Now I love them! With a thin nylon shell and they are good to temps as low as 55F/10C. But feel pretty breezy in much warmer weather, which is why I bought them. They are well made and well-priced. I'm glad I bought them.

Great Bargain

Well made, comfortable, decent protection, excellent air flow. Good luck with sizing. I'm 6'2'', 200 lbs.and wear a 36 - 32 pant. The XLs fit great. Also have the XXLs to use over jeans or shorts. Also a great fit.

Good product at a great price

I ride all over San Diego County with these pants year-round (yeah, we can do that here - come check it out). They're a comfortable fit and the venting works well. Fortunately, they haven't been "road tested," but at this price, you can't go wrong. Definitely a good buy.

very happy

This is all that I wanted. You get lots of air on the bike, and actually they do keep you warm on 65-70 degree weather. Very happy, lots of protection. Just make sure to a just the knee protection. They look good too.

Great pants for the buck$

I am 5'8" 160#s and wear a 30 inseam in Levi's so I ordered the "Large" and they fit just fine. Knee pad placement is perfect when in riding position. Like the zippers on pockets and the velcro belt/ankles which offer a custom fit. Heavily vented-- these are definitely a summer riding pant. Nice fit, nice price, super light but bulky (u may not be able to get rain pants over them). I washed mine after a 3 day road trip and amour goes in/out easily. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Great Pants!

I've had mine over 6 months and still love them. Fit is excellent and they are very comfortable and offer decent protection with good airflow. I took the knee pads out and wear real knee pads underneath.

Excellent Pants!

Love that these have CE rated armor. I've seen much more expensive pants with less protection features. Great fit. I'm 5'7 145 lbs, size S. No loose material flapping around. Slightly long on me when standing, but perfect in riding position. Knee armor sits where it should. Also a lot of adjustability in waist and ankle. Very good heat venting, although not as much in hips due to foam padding, but that's a reasonable compromise to me.

Surpassed my expectation

For the price, can't beat the quality of those pants. I wore them today in a 7c degree weather on a scenic atlantic drive and i was comfortable and warm as can be. Super fit when you're on the bike and they don't feel bulky when you walk. I will definitely recommend, no use buying a $250 pair.

AGV Solare pants...Love them

I bought the AGV Solare mesh pants to replace a pair of Vega mesh pants that just were not very durable. The AGV pants are very well made and the zippers are sew in with much better workmanship than the Vega product. I have found these pants to be very comfortable both alone and worn over khakis and jeans. The allow great airflow and have well placed armor. All in all a great pair of armor mesh pants at a great price.

Great so far

Not sure about durability as I've only had these a couple of months, but so far so good. I actually returned a weatherproof pair of pants (different make) due to the lack of breathability (despite the claims). the AGVs breathe nicely and don't overheat yet will also keep you relatively warm, esp with long johns in the colder weather. Very comfy, pads are positioned very nicely. Order one size up! I did based on the advice of this column and it was right on the money.

AGV Solare pants

Feels like you're wearing shorts. The short version fits me to a T. I'm 5'8" and they work very well. I like the fact that all the zippers have a pull tab on them to help with while wearing gloves. Great buy!
