    Excellent!!!!!

My first BT helmet and I am blown away! It has a lack of bass like everyone says, but the sound is more than enough. This helmet and Pandora is the bomb. I'm glad I took the chance on this one. Don't listen to the bad reviews- this helmet is worth more than it costs.

    Bad Buy

We bought two of these helmets, one for me and one for my husband. Unfortunately after the first use they were basically useless. The sound was poor inside the helmet communication back and forth has been virtually impossible. Today I was able to talk to my husband while he rode his and he could hear me, but I was unable to hear anything back from him. These were definitely a disappointing purchase.

    Good concept, but....

I bought two of these from MCSS so my GF and I could stay in touch on rides on our separate bikes. The site promises 450m on helmet to helmet connectivity, but it is really only about 100-200 feet. Still, there is some utility in this limited distance, so I will keep them.

It is what it is... a mid-range BT helmet

I've been using this helmet for the last year and a half and I'm happy with the results. I don't talk much on the phone while riding because I just don't like it... but it works well if you pull over like anyone with a brain should know talking on the phone while riding is a bad idea. For use with music it's great, I wear foam ear plugs like you find at home depot whenever I ride and it's loud enough you can enjoy it without blocking out anything you may need to.

    glad it was on sale

This is a solid helmet but it does run a little small. The bluetooth is ok but has an incredibly short range. I haven't had a chance to try out the intercom features but if it works anything like the bluetooth you are going to be saying what a lot. I would buy this product again because its not that bad...just not that great but for the price its a steal.

    What blue Tooth???

Yep - I got this helmet because of the Bluetooth option, and it simply didn't work O.k- connection with my iPhone for music - forget it - all you her is a Mono noise in the back...as phone itself - people calling me could hear me perfect - but I could not hear them at all. I called Superstore to see if there was a problem and they told me to return it - so I did!

    great customer service

The first tirade I had just quit working because of a defect in the circuitry. Called motorcycle superstore and they honored the warranty even though it was well past the 60 day mark. Estimated time for a replacement would have taken 6-8 weeks. Fortunately the O'Neal distribution building was only 30 minutes away. I had an awesome girl by the name of sarah(drop dead gorgeous)at O'Neal help me out and the next day after speaking to her on the phone I had a brand new out of the box tirade helmet!

    NOT TRUE TO SIZE

THIS HELMET IS SMALL. BE SURE TO ORDER ONE SIZE LARGER THAN NORMAL. IT IS ALSO HEAVY. I RETURNED MINE AND WENT AHEAD AND BOUGHT A MORE EXPENSIVE SNELL/DOT HELMET. I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

    First and only

First helmet had to have Bluetooth. The radio was a perk. Only complaint is the static but that comes with the territory. Cruising around great. Freeways: make sure your lid is down. And the clear visor is not worth it in the sunlight. Also very easy to connect to iPhone. Chin protection was another perk. Overall great lid

    TIRADE HELMET

Good fit and feel but not the greatest sound. Bass needs more boost. Overall good quality but chincy strap. Oneal really stands behind their product since my first had problems. No nonsense replacement and easy to exchange. Very nice on trips. Wish the replacement lenses were cheaper.

I can make a better one from scratch.

The first Bluetooth tirade and was clumsy, heavy, one speaker cut out and charger was in bad place. Then I bought this one. Again left speaker cuts out most of the time and very quiet when talking on phone even at 20 mph. Don't even attempt over 50 mph. It actually got stuck and volume got stuck on full which was quite annoying. Many times have I tried to turn up the volume and it switched to radio. The true question is whether I want to try again with the tirade 2.

    Expected a better product...

I bought this helmet expecting a good Bluetooth helmet... well, the charging dock is hard to connect, and you basically have to leave the helmet on its side to charge. The Bluetooth is hard to impossible to hear and forget about listing to music or FM the sound breaks up constantly... maybe I got a bad helmet?

    Better than nothing...

I got my Tirade about a month ago, after waiting about two months to get it. It’s good and airflow outside the helmet is much better than my Scorpion exo700, the inside is fair but not great fogs up right away below 40 mph. The plug for recharging is in a really stupid place, I mean really stupid. The speakers kind of suck and the mic is ok below 45 mph. but overall helmet is OK, better than not having one but not as exciting as I had hoped.

    Bluetooth is cheap

The speakers don't work well and the charging assembly is poorly constructed. Charger does not work well.
