An "ok" harness

I am back and forth about this harness. After one 3 hour trip with this harness holding down my motorcycle on my trailer, the plastic buckle thing that is used for adjusting the width between the grips is broken on one side. I have since used the harness with no problems but it is a small concern to me and I feel like it could be a really bad day if it breaks completely. I also had to wrap shop rags around my grips the second time I used it because the first time it left a very undesirable pattern imprinted in my grips from the piece that wraps around them and is supposed to protect them. I would suggest looking for a more durable or better fitting harness if you're going to have your motorcycle on a trailer a lot. I don't think this harness does anything better than any other out there and this one is more expensive.

Drove from Southern Alabama to Seattle Washington - Couldn't have asked for a nicer product

I'm in the Army and had to drive across country to change duty stations, AL to WA state. I had very high expectations for this product, and to be honest I was also highly skeptical.. Long story short, these far exceeded even my high expectations. I have used regular ratchet straps (in the 4 location method as these) to secure my motorcycle on long hauls before but was always worried the regular Rachet straps would slip off the bar ends. With this product it doesn't allow them to slip off. I would also constantly re-adjust the regular ratchet straps. So I decided if I was driving literally all the way across the country I would invest in something that would also give me a piece of mind, or so I hoped. After I secured the bike in the truck bed with these straps I never even had to re-adjust them, and believe me I checked the straps every time I pulled over for gas, had to take a piss or made it to the next hotel... So for 5 days straight, and I never had to readjust them once. Worked as advertised, and the bike never moved. Need I say more?

Not for Vmax

All of us bought the same for our Gen2 Vmax. Didn't matter how we used it, the bikes still rocked back and forth. I gave mine to a co-worker who has a Yamaha R-1, and it was totally different than with the Vmax. It had NO, back and forth motion. Great product, but not for the Vmax, GEN2.

Hi Roller Handlebar Harness

Drove my R1100RT into a 12x6 U-Haul, put in on the center stand and ratchet strapped it in place with 6 straps. Left Cedar Park, Texas and drove 2,050 miles to Merrimack, NH. Hills, concrete ribbons and some bumpy roads. Only one strap had any slack in it (minor). This thing worked like a dream. Better than I hoped.

Exactly what I needed

Simply put, it does what it says it does. Well built too. I am using it to tie down my scooter and because its adjustable, I can use it to tie down my motorcycle (in the future) too.

Ehh it does its job.

Keeps the bike steady, thats for sure! Beware though, tough to get started with one person, lots of strap adjusting. It also pulls the rubber part off the throttle, but it gets pushed back on no big deal. Used for a Ducati 749 and MV Agusta Brutale 900 miles through mountains....easy. No worries ever.

Great Product

These simply are awesome. They are relatively cheap and my bikes haven't budged an inch while using them. Easy to install, just make sure your tie down straps are long enough to reach them from the rear tie down points.

High Roller Handlebar Harness

Let me start off by saying I purchased this harness to secure my 1989 Suzuki Katana 750 when I moved from Vermont to Wisconsin. It is a 1000 mile journey. After I strapped it down at the start of the trip, it never budged, didn't move at all. This is a great harness for near or far absolutely great.
