Tail and Saddlebags

After getting a Harley Night VROD I was face with the challenge of no storage space at all and a very high price for saddle bags from Harley ($745.00). Spent some time researching on the internet and found this tail bag and saddle bags from Motocentric. Wow! What a perfect fit and easy installation! Just snap and go!!! Please let all your VROD owners out there, especially if they install the small rack and backrest option of this perfect fit. I'm very happy on the looks and now have plenty of storage! Thanks again Motorcycle Superstore!!!

Great bag

Does great on my street glide. Has lots of room. Was able to put a full weekend close plus hygiene bag. Love the built in bungee cords...

Works well

The tail bag looks good and works well. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my other bike. One is on the tail of my Interceptor 250 and the other is strapped to the luggage rack on my CB500F. The Bungee cords work well for both applications and are tucked away from view.

Tail bag works!

This is my second bag. I loaned the first one to a buddy and can't get it back! I'm happy with the size. If it were any bigger you're looking for hard luggage. I can put everything I need for a commute or connect it to the sport bags and take what I need for the weekend.

Just Right

I had been searching online and at local bike shops to find the right bag with the right look for my bike and at the right price. This bag was just what I was looking for. It seems to be made with good quality materials and heavy duty zippers. It holds everything that I need to put into it and the bag is designed in a wedge shape that actually compliments the back of my Triumph. I hope that you keep making this bag as I will probably buy another one when this one wears out-but that will most likely be a long time from now.

Versatile & Sturdy Go-Anywhere Bag

Have had great success with Motocentric bags. I have the sport saddlebags too. I got this to complete the set and since I can't use a magnetic tank bag. It is sturdy, no issues with wear and I use it daily to commute and have taken it on long camping trips and extended rides. Lots of good pockets for tools inside, side pockets. I use the long bag strap which snaps on quickly. The hand was handy and strong but I cut it off bc it was rubbing into my backside too much on long trips (you could reverse the handle but didn't work for me). My only complaint is that on a bike (2005 Speed Triple) I can't get even close to connecting this bag to saddle bags. I don't think it is realistic at all. I'd buy this again.

Pretty nice

Well, this bag is just plain awesome, especially paired with the saddle bags. I rated it full stars except for 'recommend', and there's only one reason for that. This is an excellent tail bag, quality is top-notch, design and features and cost are all just great. My only warning/complaint is that since the rubber carry handle is NOT removable, it will pretty much most certainly will wear off your paint or leave wear marks on your tail section where it rubs and whacks in the wind. I love the handle, and it's a darn durable rubber one at that, and it certainly needs to be there, but it sure would be nice if we could remove it and stuff it inside while it's mounted on the bike. I've got a CBR600RR and luckily I have the carbon fiber patch on my tail, as that's exactly where the rugged rubber handle wreaks its havoc. Otherwise, you simply won't find a better tail bag and especially not a better tail bag / saddle bag kit ... for a sport bike!

Nice Looking Tail Bag

I got this to go with my Motocentric saddlebags, they all fit and look nice together on my FZ6. My only complaint with my tail bag and saddlebags is the rain covers are garbage, and getting replacement straps for broken ones has been some what impossible everyone is out. I bought the nelson rigg rain covers which are more heavy duty and seem to be better quality. MotoCentric needs to step it up with there rain covers

Handy Bag

Generally like the bag. Good storage space for the size and is made very well. Fits and is easier to mount on my rear seat rather than the luggage rack. Need a little better mounting options. A couple of straps to match the male connectors that are already on the bag. Overall good product.

Very Good Tail Bag

Good quality construction and nice fit on a Suzuki V Strom. It's shape and fitment were far better than I imagined and stood the test of 200 miles in 7 days shortly after installing. Went thru some heavy rain during the trip and only suggestion would be is to tape the seams on the rain cover. Got some dampness but nothing to change my opinion. Size is very good but the shape of the bag is best part. It complements the bike styling in a very subtle degree compared to others. Go for it!

Motocentric Sport Tail Bag

I purchased this tail bag for my '15 KLR. Overall I have been pleased with the bag although they have only been on the bike for a couple of months and about 1k miles. Material seems very durable. Mounting was very simple with the bungee cords. The bag holds tons of stuff when expanded. I haven't tested it in the rain so I can't speak of how well the rain cover works. A couple of things that I believe would make this a better bag is to have a cinch strap mounting system and larger zippers.

Good quality bag

I originally bought this for my Suzuki Katana. It didn't work well since it changed the dynamics of the motorcycle. But I used the bag as a commuter bag for my daily needs for which I was happy. I got a VTX and just went ahead and strapped the bag to the sissy bar and it finally served the purpose. This is a great daily commuter bag which holds my lunch box bottle and even my liner together at times. This bag is expandable. Overall this isn't made for a cruiser but it still served the purpose.
