    More About Riding Vests

If you can’t commit to a full jacket, then at least gear up with a motorcycle vest. Motorcycle vests come in many different styles and serve multiple purposes for every style of riding. Most riders prefer to wear a reflective or hi-viz vest to increase their visibility and presence on the streets. With added padding and protective features, motorcycle vests still provide a great amount of protection. Brands like Icon, Joe Rocket and Firstgear make ultra-bright and safe vests for all riders.

    Quality Vest

I was very pleased with the level of quality of this vest. It does cost a few dollars more but was worth the added cost for me since I wear it every time I ride. Pockets are well thought out. Very comfortable. I usually wear an XL but the M/L worked great even with a jacket underneath.

    Icon Brigand vest

This is a great looking and very comfortable vest. The protection aspect is nice and makes you feel a little more confident than when you ride without protection. The pockets are easily accessible. There are two front pockets on each side, one that zips for securing personal items while riding and one with velcro for quick and easy access. The price to me was well worth it.

    cooling vest

Works well. Went through parts of S.D., Montana and Wyoming this July and these made a huge difference. Used these about 3 days would recommend them highly. 5'8" 175lbs and the medium fits great.

    What's not to like?

Great quality material with adjustments so it fits snugly but not too snugly over the motorcycle jacket, doesn't add bulk or weight or heat. The velcro'd ID pocket is a nice touch as well, but it's a bit of a hassle getting the ID out since it's plastic as well. Moderately priced, good quality protection. Motorcycle Superstore had a great price and their customer service is terrific. Like I said: what's not to like?

    Nice jacket, weird fit

At approximately 175lbs I ordered the small/medium thinking it would be perfect around the mid section. Theres plenty of adjustment but the shoulders are way too wide and hang over a bit. If you have to adjust in too much on the bottom the stretch panels bunch up. Overall the construction is nice but the fit is a bit too universal.
