    Great "dry" weather pack

I purchased this pack in January. Works great for small stuff (lunch, change of clothes) in dry conditions. But today I had to ride to work in heavy rain, when I got to work I found about a 1/4" of water in the bottom of my pack. With all the waterproofing of the zippers couldn't they come up with something better than those air vents? Water just flows right through them.

    Good backpack

I really like how it fits my back, it's easy to put it on and off. The only minor complaint I have is that I wish that the straps would have a better system to stay put instead of that little rubber band I'm talking about extra slack when you tighten them you gotta readjust the bands so that they flop around.

    Not too durable!!!

At first I thought this was a great backpack, but after using it a while the main compartment zipper would bind at the point where it went around the curved portion, then the zipper would not align, or even worse, it would come apart. I've actually lost a few items on the freeway due to the fact that the zipper pulled open at speed. Very disappointed in this gear and would definitely not recommend this backpack to anyone who needs a reliable piece of equipment to haul their precious goods.

Its a wittle bitty baby backpack

As many people have mentioned, the backpack is tiny. I wanted to use it for riding to class, however once a 15" laptop is inside, only 1 additional book will fit. Backpack is even smaller than I was expecting, and if you are a larger person, aka over 5'8" lets say, it looks like you are wearing a tiny wittle baby backpack, as people have told me. Durability and quality definitely seems to be there, much like all alpinestar products, its just not a backpack for adults.

    Review of Slipstream Backpack

Pricey but very high quality, iPad pocket an added plus. Quality of materials and construction far better than any similar product. Perfect size for wearing on a motorcycle. Only complaint is that waist belt is not long enough to get around my motorcycle jacket and I ain't that fat! Other than that.. excellent.
