Great Pants

These pants are great! Very comfortable. Price is a bit high when purchasing new. Women's sizes are disappointing. So I wear men's sizes and the features and sizing is great. Why not for the women's pants???

Joe Rocket Alter Ego Men's Pants

I really like the Alter Ego pant. I bought a used pair off kijiji and they are great. I have to say that as far as women's gear goes Joe Rocket does not do a great job for women. The features on the men's pants are great and size is great why do they not do that for women's pants. I have had two pair of men's Joe Rocket pants 1 mesh pair and then this textile mesh combo. Great Gear!! Happy safe ride to all out there! Melissa

Still new but so far, so good

Although had a rainsuit in saddlebag, wore the Joe Rocket pants and jacket through a driving N. California rain into Oregon. I stayed dry from the rain but if there was any moisture, it probably was perspiration from having the vents closed. Haven't ridden in any rain to speak of since so can't judge how well it will stand up to repeated dousings. Nicest non-leather suit I have owned and price point was perfect.

Joe Rocket alter ego 2.0 pants

I'm 6-3 so ordered the xl tall's and they fit great!! Good armor, I actually wear them as pants, not overpants but you could do either. Very happy. I also have the jacket and have been pleased with that as well

Really like the pants but need other rain gear

I have had 2 pairs and I really like the zip off vent. The pants are comfortable and fit great. My first pair lasted longer than I should have kept them. I don't understand the interior rain liner. I don't want to have to take off my pants to put on rain gear. I carry rain gear that will go over my pants. The liner is useless to me. Other than that the pants are great.

Great All Season Pants

At 6'4" 240 the XL Tall is a perfect fit. The zippers work good but do require some attention to avoid jamming them in the liner material. The cuff at the ankle is more loose than I want it to be but I haven't had an issue with rain or cold air entering the leg. I have used these in the rain and had no issue with waterproof-ness. I ride a Concours 14 so the fairing certainly helps.

My second pair

Just read the review by Tim F from Georgia and would make the exact same comments. This is my second pair and I only wore the inner rain pants once. Wore a thin under garment and rain pants over when required. Happy to see a wider removeable vent piece. Well said Tim.

great

I had the old alter ego pants but they didn't come in long legs like these ones. Better fit and are better finished with the heat resistant bottom's so they don't melt like the old style.

Forget the liner

Nice pants! I wear them alone, not as overpants. The cut is slim, so you can easily wear ski pants over them in the winter for a warm, dry and comfortable ride. There is no padding at the coxis but the lower back pad and knee armor are large and protect well. Forget the liner; it will make you sweat in warm weather and it will not keep the water out. My suggestion is to wear thin underpants year round for comfort and wear rain pants on top when expecting rain.

Measure twice, buy once

Great motorcycle pants for a reasonable price; they work and look great as pants instead of overpants too, just buy one size smaller than the sizing guide suggest. i.e., Waist=32, buy size S. Good features, thick material, windproof, water resistant, etc. The pockets are a bit useless for wallets or phones as they are exactly where you bend your legs at the hips and anything large will feel uncomfortable.

My favorite pants

I love that I can order these pants in long. I'm 6'2" and most normal pants ride come up to my ankles. These pants completely cover my boot and block out the wind. My only wish is that the pockets could be a little deeper.

Good Pant

Have approximately 2000Km in these. I have been very happy with them. They are warm in 80 plus weather. They look good on, as good as one can expect for an over pant. I tried them in store before ordering and the medium fits perfect. 5'11" 150lbs

Who needs heated pants?

Been riding about 2,000 miles in 30-40 degree weather and even with the mesh exposed I arrive literally sweating so now I wont ride without them. With that being said I’m a little worried about riding in the summer since in freezing weather I’m almost overheating.
