A hard tire to beat for the price.

I bought the Pirelli because it was cheaper. After 1500 miles around the PNW, they have a lot of life left in them. I commute, run dirt and gravel, I ride in the rain. The tire sticks great on pavement. You can scrap the pegs. The front Pirelli doesn't work as well as a Dunlop 606 does off-pavement. It isn't as planted or stable. It wonders around. The front is aired down to 26 pounds, but that is still too much for off pavement. This tire is noisy. It howls at certain speeds.

Mounted this tire on my DR650 and I am very pleased with it so far. Feels stable on the street, dirt and mud. I feel it's a good overall tire. I only have a few hundred miles, so I can't really comment on wear, or riding on wet pavement.

Ran a set on my 950SE as an alternative to the Dunlop 606/908 which are much more expensive. I would say they are at least as good as the Dunlops in all categories, but much cheaper. A great tire at a great price.

I bought these tires expecting good dirt handling and have not been at all disappointed. I have also been very happy with their on-road performance. Even in the wet, these tires have stuck very nicely. The front is hanging strong. There is little wear evident, and no cracking at the base of any of the knobs. The only downside that I have found so far is the twitchy feeling in the front. Not terrible, but it can be a little unnerving sometimes.

rally tire

On my 900 Cagiva Gran Canyon the tires have done well in soft sand, loose gravel and also OK on the freeway at 75 mph and at passing speeds. Don’t know yet about wet traction and what the tread life will be but expect about 5000 miles

A bit skatey on the front of a TE630. At speeds over 80 a little scary. But grips like velcro off-road. Don't know about wear yet, just 50 miles on it, but looks to be good. More aggressive than a TKC, less than a scorpion enduro. For 80/20 dirt I think it's the best.
