Good traction on the street, GREAT on the dirt

6500 miles on my dr650. In comparison, I'm getting 2000 miles from Shinko 700's and 244's rear tires. Tire worked great, wore well, and finally replaced it because I felt guilty, and there was some cupping which did not affect traction. I'm not super aggressive, but I never had front tire traction issues, the tire climbed out of ruts and saved my bacon quite a few times, and generally worked great always. I replaced it with the same tire.

Pirelli Scorpion Rally-Husky TE630

When it came time to replace the Scorpion Rally on the front of my Husqvarna TE630, there were lots of choices. I went back with the Scorpion Rally. In SoCal terrain, from the Carzizo Plains to Death Valley, Forest service roads to deep sand, this tire cannot be beat. Pavement will shorten it's life considerably, but that's to be expected from a tire that performs so well off road. This tire, combined with a Dunlop D606 on the back, have made this noob a better rider than he really is.

I run this on my 990r. I get about 5k miles out of them and this is my go to hard core off road tire. I run it on the street as well when new.

Mounted this tire on my DR650 and I am very pleased with it so far. Feels stable on the street, dirt and mud. I feel it's a good overall tire. I only have a few hundred miles, so I can't really comment on wear, or riding on wet pavement.

A hard tire to beat for the price.

I bought the Pirelli because it was cheaper. After 1500 miles around the PNW, they have a lot of life left in them. I commute, run dirt and gravel, I ride in the rain. The tire sticks great on pavement. You can scrap the pegs. The front Pirelli doesn't work as well as a Dunlop 606 does off-pavement. It isn't as planted or stable. It wonders around. The front is aired down to 26 pounds, but that is still too much for off pavement. This tire is noisy. It howls at certain speeds.

I bought these tires expecting good dirt handling and have not been at all disappointed. I have also been very happy with their on-road performance. Even in the wet, these tires have stuck very nicely. The front is hanging strong. There is little wear evident, and no cracking at the base of any of the knobs. The only downside that I have found so far is the twitchy feeling in the front. Not terrible, but it can be a little unnerving sometimes.

On my 900 Cagiva Gran Canyon the tires have done well in soft sand, loose gravel and also OK on the freeway at 75 mph and at passing speeds. Don’t know yet about wet traction and what the tread life will be but expect about 5000 miles

A bit skatey on the front of a TE630. At speeds over 80 a little scary. But grips like velcro off-road. Don't know about wear yet, just 50 miles on it, but looks to be good. More aggressive than a TKC, less than a scorpion enduro. For 80/20 dirt I think it's the best.

Ran a set on my 950SE as an alternative to the Dunlop 606/908 which are much more expensive. I would say they are at least as good as the Dunlops in all categories, but much cheaper. A great tire at a great price.
