No Problemo...

I've been using this battery in my 2004 Kawasaki 1600 Vulcan Classic since first replacing the original/factory battery. Never had a problem and always outlasts the lifetime expectancy...even though I don't charge it in the off-season when I may not ride for 3-4 weeks.

SEEMS TO BE WORKING WELL

I did not know I had to fill it up with battery acid. It was relatively easy and after I charged it the battery worked well. I wish I would of known I had to fill it up with acid.

Not what I thought

It's a great battery, but I didn't know you had to put liquid into the battery. When it said maintenance free, I thought it was a gel battery. HOWEVER, I've got no complaints on the performance :)

Battery

Great brand as always. People! Never keep any battery hooked up to a tender all the time. It will boil out the acid in a year or less because they never shut down and monitor. Tenders take the voltage up too high and never shut down like a normal charger. A good normal charger brings up the voltage to where is is supposed to be and shuts of until it needs a little bump back up. A good charger will have a % charge meter and in most cases it has a yellow light on when charging and when it is fully charged a green light comes on. When is goes green it monitors the voltage and especially with a new battery or if down in the low 12 volt range the light will go off a few seconds or more and come back on. When you watch for several minutes and it never turns off it is holding up to the correct voltage and holding a good charge. You can make a tender connector with a small set of alligator clips and some number 16 wire ( good to use black and red wires to hook to the larger clamps on a standard charger and connect to your bike side just make sure you take a volt meter and check the ends of the tender for which is positive and negative and mark the bike connector and wires if all you have it the same color. Now your battery if a good brand will last at least 3 years or in my case I have 3 power sports batteries and some has lasted 5 to 6 years. Once a month I take my volt meter and connect to the tender cable on the bike and if it is 12.5 volts or more check again next month. Meanwhile find a trash can and through the tender away. ( you may want to cut the tender cable off and put some clips on the ends to hook to a standard charger. Just be sure to check the polarity and mark the small clips + and -)

TERRIBLE QUALITY

I just purchased this battery for my 2002 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic, just a little over a year ago. Kept the battery well maintained on a Battery Tender the full time. The battery just recently started showing signs of not holding a charge. I took it, and had it checked out thoroughly, and it tested to be defective. NOT ACCEPTABLE! I will NEVER purchase another Yuasa battery!

Yuasa Battery

So far this is a good battery in my cbr250r. I had a Yuasa in a scooter for 6 years before it died. This is a good brand with good quality. I expect this to last quite a long time.

Fresh battery

Given the simple do-it-yourself fill option I was assured of having a fresh battery. Followed advice on manufacturer's website regarding pre-use charge. Still only a month or so old and no problems. Expect long term 'name brand' performance.

Great purchase, great battery

As most others have said, zero complaints with this battery. Dropped the acid, charged overnight, wired up the next morning, and I was off to the Hill Country with no worries. Fits well enough into a 2011 Harley Fat Bob slot with a couple of harness accessory connections. Recommended with no reservations.

Great affordable battery

I ordered this for my 2011 Triumph Bonneville T100. It was my first battery that required filling on my end but the instructions were easy enough to follow. Be prepared to spend around 30 minutes filling the battery and another 24 hours to charge it with a battery tender. You will need a battery tender to make this work as it is not pre filled with the acid and does not have a charge to begin with. I ordered this one and it worked fine. https://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/950/i/battery-tender-junior-charger Although this battery fits my Bonneville, it is half an inch short in length but I added two layers of cardboard which solved in issue. Overall, it is a good price for an affordable battery if you are not looking to spend too much money.
