Kryptonite New York Noose Evo 4 Lock

I believe this is the greatest lock ever built. For the $100, My bicycle is insured up to $3500! The $15 Kryptonite fee insures my bicycle for three years. Only drawback is the lock and chain weighs in at a hefty 9.75 lbs. Other than that it is very well built, worth the money by far. Wraps around my seat post quite nicely. I like the fact that the 4'3" length can wrap around huge trees, which are not going to get cut, and more importantly, will keep my bike protected from theft. In the city of Milwaukee, WI where I reside, theft is rampant! I feel secure locking the bike up with this awesome lock. Great product for sure. Will buy as a gift for family members at Christmas so we can all go out riding next season!

Convenient peace of mind

If you're in the market for a noose chain, the NY Noose is the thickest available noose chain at Motorcycle Superstore. The heavy sleeved chain and coated U-lock work to connect a tubular bike frame to a fixed object in seconds with effective scratch protection. The Kryptonite quality seen in all of the parts adds to the value of peace of mind this noose chain brings against casual carry away theft.

Solid lock

This lock is solid. Very heavy, and could potentially damage paint (I use it for my Vespa) if not careful. It seems like it would take a significant effort to cut through this lock!

New York Lock

Great, stout lock. Locking mechanism is smooth. This thing is military-grade. It's also heavy as an anvil so don't buy it as a portable lock but instead as a fixed unit where you park your bike regularly.

Beefy

Good length. Not too long or short. Not going to erode. Most importantly, not going to get cut. It's worth the extra coin.

KRYPTONITE NY NOOSE CHAIN

I already know the reputation of Kryptonite products so the choice was a no-brainer....what more could I say.

Hardcore

This lock is very heavy and gives me great confidence in security. As long as it's attached to something that cant be cut or removed, your vehicle is not going anywhere you don't want it to. This lock/chain were highly recommended by many other riders and was the main reason I chose Kryptonite.

Great

Though it is extremely heavy to carry it is definitely the best way to secure your bike. It is one thing that helps me sleep at night.

Secure

This lock is like chaining a 500 pound anchor to your bike. If you’re looking for security, this is it. Not very portable though.
