Awesome anchor!

I drilled in the concrete pad along my house four years ago and with the Kryptonight New York chain attached to my bikes rear wheel, I never got my bike stolen.Bravo Kryptonight!!!!

Well made and easy to install

The kit is complete with the right bits and hardware to install the anchor. A little work to drill the concrete but it really is well made and virtually indestructible. I have the Faghetaboutit lock to go with it and my ATV has never been safer.

Great security

The link is heavy duty and the design is very good. I had trouble drilling into the concrete as the drill bits dulled very rapidly and I had to go buy another one. I finally got it installed and I'm seriously happy with it. My bike got stolen and I got it back so now it's chained up with this, a 6 ft. bully chain and the "Beast" padlock. If thieves want this bike now they're going to have to bring power tools and a blow torch. These three items are the best security I've ever bought!

Kryptonite helps me sleep well at night with this Stronghold Anchor!

I saw this product on motorcycle racing forums and I bought a few and I'm very impressed with the strength and superior quality. Buy one or buy a few like I did and you'll sleep well at night knowing your bikes are seriously bolted down tight! Motorcycle Superstore is the only motorcycle online retailer I will ever purchase motorcycle products from, Thanks!!

Great strong product, a MUST!!!

Use a full size true hammer drill. A small hammer drill will take forever. Make sure the anchor bolt is screwed clockwise to just touch the top of the collar of the anchor before you initially tap it into the holes in the concrete. If not and if the hole is not reamed enough and is too tight it will push thru the bottom and the entire anchor will come apart. DON'T FORCE THE ANCHOR! A light tap on the bolt to get it in is ample.

Excellent idea, great features and relatively easy to install

The design of this anchor is excellent. It comes with everything you need to install it (follow the instructions carefully as they recommend!), except the drill, which has to be reasonably powerful for holes in concrete. Just go for the best chain lock as a combination. This product was exactly what I needed to secure my scooter in front of my house.

Kryptonite Anchor

This works great along with the Kryptonite Chains and locks. I bolted the anchor to the concrete through my cycle shelter and it is not going anywhere.

Kryptonite - Stronghold Above Ground Anchor

This product is well built and would be impossible to move once mounted in concrete. Took me several hours to install due to drilling 3 holes, 6 inches deep in concrete. Overall very happy with this product, it just took a long time to install. Be aware you need a high powered electric drill to drill your holes.

Fuhgedaboutit

Lock it down and rest a little easier. Great design kryptonite. With the right tools, you can self install.

Great for suburban storage

I'm not sure that I'd sleep easy with this anchor protecting my bike if I lived in an inner city neighborhood. But here in suburbia it should be enough of a deterrent to make potential thieves look for an easier mark elsewhere. Installation was a breeze.

The best

Garage locks but that only keeps the honest people out. This puppy will make the crooks think. Solid, once it's drilled in (which isn't easy) it's not moving. Combine this with a NY chain lock and you have some serious protection.

Solid

I had to drill through 6 inches of concrete, but after an hour it was in. I can’t find anything bad about it and like that others feel confident in it.

Kryptonite - Stronghold Above Ground Anchor

Very impressed with the quality of this product. I will sleep much better knowing that this item is keeping my motorcycle safe from been wheeled away. I made a steel cover to cover the plastic cover supplied to prevent the bolts from being removed. I was not overly impressed with the Kryptonite devise of ball bearings in the top of the hex screws.

Well worth the price

It’s the size of a small dinner plate, heavy too. Of course I was expecting quality, but it’s nice to know that the company who makes this product actually used some heavy metals and thick solid plastics for the reasonable price. The anchor comes with drill bits so that’s a nice touch as well as little metal beads so when you get done putting in the bolts you just take a hammer to them and you wont have to worry about some punks just unscrewing them. You'll most definitely sleep better at night.

Stronghold

Man, this thing is heavy duty. I have installed "tamp-ins" in concrete before, but for whatever reason, the concrete or the bit, it was extremely difficult to drill the holes. The product instills confidence your bike will be there when you come back!
