    Great little alarm.

I bought this to go in my Dowco cover and it works great! Very loud and easy to set up!

    Doesn't last.

I bought this alarm only 4 months ago and it sounds like it is dying. It makes about as much noise as a mouse farting.

    Not worth it

I've read reviews of the alarm and saw some people mentioned it sounds like it's choking and a dying alarm. I gave it the benefit of the doubt that maybe that customer got unlucky with a defective product. Surprisingly, I had the same experience. It seems as bad as cheap products from China.

    Extra line of defense

I bought this along with the Dowco Guardian Cover (which is great). It fits in the pocket well and the cord is long enough to reach a few different parts on the bike. The snap and actually the alarm overall seem a little flimsy, but the main purpose is to surprise someone who doesn't know it's there (a joyrider or novice thief). When our bike was parked on the street just outside our bedroom window, I had faith that this baby would wake us up to catch some thugs. It is loud!

    Cover Alarm

Works great! I use it as a shed alarm. Connect the box to the ceiling of the shed & the tether to the door. If you don't unclip the tether from the door before opening all the way, WHOOP, WHOOP, WHOOP until you plug the tether back into box.

    Dowco Motorcycle Alarm

The Dowco alarm gives the best bang for the buck. One doesn't really need to mount it to the cover. I've mounted it underneath my left floorboard with Velcro and attached the pull pin to my kick stand with fishing line. If someone tries to throw up the kick stand, and doesn't see the almost invisible fishing line, the alarm is going to go off, and it will deter the crook from making off with the bike. I think this alarm works great any way you want to mount it!!!

    Dowco - Guardian Cover Alarm

Works great with the cover. If someone tries to lift the cover there is no shutting this off until they find the pin. Most likely they won’t even try.

    good deal

Fits my Triumph Bonneville perfectly. Kind of bulky, takes up half a saddlebag, but comes in a nice pouch. I also got the alarm for it.

    Guardian Cover Alarm

The Guardian Cover Alarm is simple and does its job. The only thing I don't like is that it can be easily disarmed by a thief that knows the product.

    Dang its loud

Nice accessory for your cover. The sound will make you go nuts. I triggered it by accident and now always remember it’s there ;)

    Highly recommend

I have the zippered Dowco cover, which I highly recommend because the zipper allows for much quicker and easier on/off. Unfortunately, the Dowco zippered model does not have the built-in pocket for the Cover Alarm, which creates a challenge for install. So, I had to improvise.

    Useful Gadget!

Very ingenious security system. It fits in an inside pocket of the Dowco cover and there is like a 10-inch strap that you attach to the brake disc. If someone tries to remove the cover the strap will be stretched and as it is attached to the disc nothing happens at this end, but at the other end the strap pulls a pin in the alarm box (that stays firm in the cover inside pocket) and the alarm sounds.
