I initially liked the style of this jeans until I tried them on for the first time. I wear a 38" waist, however, the thighs were so tight that when I returned them for a 40" waist to adjust to the thigh discomfort. I was scared and ended up buying a size 42 waist instead. Needless to say, the thighs fit great now, but I have to wear my belt really tight to make the waist fit.

I have an older pair of SLIDERS kevlar jeans which would be great if the pockets were a little deeper and there were two more belt-loops at the back. I tried the SCORPION COVERT JEANS because of the advertised increase in kevlar area. I made the mistake of washing them right after receiving them instead of inspecting them, and discovered that while the SLIDERS JEANS had thick substantial kevlar, the material purporting to be kevlar in the SCORPION COVERT JEANS was very very thin and stretched as easily as a cheap t-shirt.

Just bought these pants. I took them on a 376 mile round trip from Westchester County to Binghamton, New York, the first part of which was pouring rain. I stayed warm and dry (except for my boots, which is another story). I took them on a 5 hour round trip into the Catskill Mountains (near Hunter Mt.), they worked great. I am very pleased with the pants and would recommend them to anyone hoping to extend their riding season into late fall, or for an early start in the spring.

I purchased these pants about 2 months ago for a ride to Taos, NM. I found them very comfortable to wear over my jeans. No problem getting them on and off and has good air flow to keep you cool.

Beware... If you workout your lower body at all these jeans are probably not for you. I have a 30" waste, but usually buy 34's to compensate for my quads. The groin of these pants wouldn't even make it to mid thigh. These pants are very very skinny, so if you have any muscle on your legs I would suggest a couple sizes bigger, and get the waist tailored.

Make sure you buy 1 waist size up (e.g. I wear 30, bought 32). The length for me is perfect though, I am 5'8" inseam 30. The longer length provides coverage from when you are in riding position. These jeans look GREAT! No one can tell them are motorcycle specific and the material feels heavy and comfortable against skin (even the Kevlar portions) They will be slightly warmer than regular jeans as they are thicker, but I've still gone riding in hot weather with no issues. The pockets are large and deep which is essential for riding to make sure nothing falls out. Aside from the closure button there are no hard finished parts to scratch/nick your bike. However if you are looking for something with more protection, look elsewhere. These are made for style and comfort first. I picked these up on sale when they were $60 and I consider that an absolute STEAL!
