Product Information

Spidi Women’s Glance Pants

Not something you hear every day, Spidi says the Glance utilizes “external fabric and cut derived from horse riding and racing”. And as odd as this might sound to some, it works with the Glance. Intended for touring, the design is light and abrasion resistant and at the same time equipped with a removable waterproof membrane and Spidi’s CE Multitech armor. Black may be the only color option but thanks to the stylish lines and shape of the Glance, this is a pant that can cover several different styles of motorcycle riding.

Features:
  • External shell: Tenax, Tactel, Cordura 500 and Tenax Flex
  • H2OUT waterproof, windproof and breathable inner membrane can be removed and stored easily
  • Mesh internal liner helps wick away moisture
  • CE knee Multitech protectors
  • Zipper joint for jackets
  • Adjustable ankle area
  • Reflex areas
  • Two pockets

**Note: Spidi garments have a euro fit, for a looser fit order one size larger than normal. Please use size chart to help ensure proper size selection.

Great fit but...

Love the fit and feel of these pants, they are not bulky. I have had them 4 months and put over 4k miles on them. I have not used the inner rain liner because in the hot weather it is like wearing a plastic bag and too hot so I have pulled rain gear over. My problem is that the Codura on the thigh area has totally faded from the sun and now looks awful. For that kind of money that shouldn't happen in that time frame. Disappointed, because I really like the fit and feel of the pant.

You will look good, but....

Great fit in a stretch material that will make any body look good. I'd hate to have them on in a slide with the asphalt, though. If you want protection, look elsewhere. If you want to look good, these are the pants for you.

Excellent

We bought every water proof pants made to try to find a pair that fit my wife the way she liked. She has a short 27/28 inseam with a 33/34 waist. These came in a large/short that worked great for her. It is light on protection but the build quality and materials are awesome. Tight fitting but still comfortable on a recent 2500 mile trip. With the belt loop waist she adds a blingy belt to add some style.

Spidi Womens "Glance Pants"

Since I'm only 5'2" I wasn't sure whether to purchase the shorter length or not so I chose the regular length. My inseam measurement is 28". I ordered size Medium. I'm glad I did because when you're in the riding position on a bike (even as a passenger), the length of pants go up and now my ankles and another inch below are protected. This will be especially appreciated when caught in the rain, etc. I never had an hour-glass figure and my waist is about 31", hips at 37" and these pants fit to a T - with just a little room left to tuck in a heavy sweater if I wore one. I also appreciate the added stretch in areas for added movement. I have yet to wear the pants in hot weather without the liner so I'll have to write another review on the fit/feel when that time comes. I've been getting a lot of nice comments on my new apparel and it's much appreciated. They're quite figure-enhancing too! My other riding pants (not Spidi) are well known and work great but are somewhat very baggy in the legs, probably due to my height. It is very important to think about the comfort and protection when riding our motorcycles and I would highly recommend these pants to all riders who want to feel good about their appearance and have the protection as well! (chalk one up for Spidi!)

TOTALLY WON ME OVER!!!

These riding pants, in fit and function, are the BEST I have ever owned! They are toasty warm and keep you bone dry. They are NOT BULKY at all (LUV THAT!), and they don't make horribly loud swishing noises when you are walking. The leg bottoms are extremely well designed to keep the wet and cold air out: The light grey waterproof liner has adjustable snaps that you can use to tighten the leg bottoms snuggly against your ankles. The leg liner is also thin enough that I choose to wear it comfortably tucked inside of my boots. The outer pant legs have ankle zippers for easy on and off, as well as drawstrings and toggles that you can use to cinch the legs tightly around the outside of your boots. I am petite (5'1") and the length is very manageable...even before I use the cinching features. I took my measurements before ordering, and used the Spidi size chart for guidance. They fit beautifully and feel tailor made for me...in fact, I wish I could find jeans that fit as well! There are only two zippered pockets on the front, but since my riding jacket has more than enough pockets, I don't find the lack of pockets disappointing. I was hesitant to order due to the high price, but now that I have personally experienced the quality, fit, comfort, and superb function of these pants, I will NEVER purchase another brand. I consider my money very well spent!!! I also own the Spidi gloves for ladies, and can't say enough about those either. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE! :)

Impressed!

I bought a size larger so I can wear them as overpants and they fit beautifully. Tailored, but not tight or binding. The waterproof liner is a breeze to remove and put back in place and has proven, to indeed, be waterproof. Riding around the Pacific NW and Cascade Mtns. during spring is a nice test!
