Sidi Adventure Rain Boots

Fit perfectly and are very comfortable. A little warm in hot weather but not too bad. Overall a great boot.

Great boot

I've had these boots for two years now and they are absolutely bombproof. My riding is about 50/50 only because I have to ride some pavement to get to the dirt. They provide excellent support, they fit well and are comfortable. My feet haven't gotten wet in rain, mud holes or creek crossings plus they have held up extremely well and as a bonus they've quit squeaking.

Great Adventure Boot

Have only wore them half a dozen times so far, very happy with them. Went a size larger than I usually wear because I have a wide foot and they fit like a glove. Look great and no leaks. They are a little warm but all boots are to me.

My SiDi's

These are by far the best fitting and most comfortable boots. Being only a 5 1/2 I had a hard time finding something for riding right. LOVE THEM!

Excellent boots

Perfect fit, same size as for work boots or hiking boots. Not cheap, but worth it.

Good boots

Light weight, good protection, have been truly waterproof for me (unlike the reviewer above), I use them wading in streams, grippy soles. Downsides are cost, squeaky, don't breath well (duh), a bit pricey, and squeaky. Did I mention squeaky. Mine have 10k miles, holding up well, but that's not a true long term durability test so my rating is a hopeful guess.

Not for rain...

Great boots as long as: 1. you dont expect to have them for very long. the regid sections of the boots create stress area that dig into the leather and the seems eventually give out. 2. Waterproof is a joke. Just came back from a 3500km trip where it rained for 3 days straight. Boots where soaked after 2hrs. 3. Soles are nice and grippy but they wear rather quickly. Oh, I've had the boots for 18months now and I'm in the market for a new pair... Same model? Absolutely not.

Great boots, but squeaky

Have had these for a month now. First use was on a 8 day adventure ride. Absolutely no break-in issues for me. Seems to give me the protection I wanted for my 60Road/40 dirt road riding Only complaint is that they are squeaky as all get out. But the reviews said that.

Awesome boots!

I love these boots! I was tired of my wimpy Alpinestars street boots, and my Tech 2's weren't comfortable enough for extended touring. Got a deal on these. It's odd that there's a size gap -- it jumps from 8.5 to 9.5 (because of the Euro sizing). I normally wear an 8.5 shoe, but buy hiking boots in a size 9. I decided to try these in 8.5 because I knew 9.5 would be too big. I was pleasantly surprised. They fit perfectly!

Not for large calves

I was hesitant about ordering these. I have WIDE feet (4E) and the SIDI's are mostly narrow. I ordered a 46 instead of a 45 and after a few days of break in, they fit fine. These are comfortable wearing boots, albeit, squeaky. The only gripe I have is the tops are too small for my calves. The Velcro barely catches. I would probably order Discoveries with the top strap instead of Velcro.

Adventure Rain Boots

FIT: fit well, though definatly geared more for larger calves and ankles. The straps are almost all the way in. FINISH: continue to look great even after being broken in and heavy use in floods, etc. DURABILITY: Sole and leather has done well with daily use. FEATURES: Not an actually stitched sole, and leather may bunch up if you have smaller calves/ankles. Waterproof and durable otherwise. COST BENEFIT: They're pricey but the features add up to a nice boot.

Nice boots

Size 45 is a little large if you have size 10 feet but on a hot day when your feet swell up they fit great. In the winter just wear thicker socks. Too bad Sidi doesn't offer half sizes.

Great boots

I purchased these boots because I have an ATV and street bike and felt that the boots would fit into both categories. They have seen a track day, hours of time on the street and will be hitting the dirt this weekend. A couple of small cons: very squeaky, very warm, but at the same time, you don't really notice it until you take them off and realize that your socks are soaked. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would buy them again. They should last YEARS.

Good boots

The boots work well. Good protection while still allowing mobility. Mink oil spread liberally solves the screaming leather squeak.
