Did not fit bike as website said it would

Did not fit bike as website said it would. Agrivating to say the least, but made it work.

Sweet

I've been using these on my 1999 RM250 for the last 4 years. I've used the K+N and wasted over 140 dollars. With these filters when it's time to clean it I just throw it away and put another one on. My bike runs just as good with this filter than the K+N. i still have nightmares about the Belray blue goo all over my hands.

Best Air Filter

This is the only filter I run, whether it be on a 2 or 4 stroke. For the price it's definitely worth the piece of mind knowing your bike can breath easy.

The ease is supreme

It is so easy to put these on and when they are used to throw them away. Shortly after opening the bag I usually massage the filter while still in the bag to ensure the oil is re-distributed a last time, and maybe its overkill but to also ensure its freshly made tacky. I have used them on two KTM 2-strokes and on two Yamaha 4-strokes. I started using them about 7 years ago. It is so easy. I also have not had any problems with dirt or silt getting past which is key to a lasting motor.

Maxima pre oiled filter

Bang for the buck, I have 4 of them in my garage. Filters only last 3 or 4 washes then starts to get un-glued from the seams. Fit is perfect for my 2009 KX250F. I will buy again.

Too inexpensive to ignore

I decided to try these and do a price comparison. I used these on one bike and cleaned and re-oiled filters on my other bike. It is a little more expensive to use these and they don't fit quite as well as Twin Air. After a year long comparison I have decided to use these on both bikes. I change oil and filters after every ride and it's not worth my time to mess with a filter to save a buck.

perfect replacement

The stock filter on a "borrowed" bike was shredded, so I bought and installed this on the CRF100. It was a PERFECT fit, nice and snug. Quality and amount of oil is perfect. I was a little deceived, not realizing this was not a total replacement filter, just a factory replacement to go over the stock metal mesh. I was thinking it was like a UNI with a plastic cage or something that replaced the metal part, but it wasn't. Still a good buy and no regrets!

Fit perfect, easy install

Having dealt with clean-and-oil-it-yourself filters on my other bikes (which sometimes fit) these were perfect. Not too much or too little oil. Fit was perfect for my kids' TTRs. And they were cheap too

CRF 250X - Fresh Air

My 2007 CRF 250X was bought used, and needed some TLC. Fresh oil, filters and she's ready to rip! The Maxima filter was just fine, no issues. I have a Twin Air on my YZ 125 that seems to be made of a higher quality, but cost more, too. My only beef is with Honda Engineering for making the compartment so difficult to remove/install the dang filter! Yet, I'll definitely buy another filter and more Maxima products. Motorcycle Superstore is my new addiction!

Way too thin, almost no oil

Put this on my 2002 kx125. Allows too much air for my liking and caused my bike to ping. Rather than risk my engine by messing with the air screw and risking debris in my cylinder, I threw it in the trash and ordered a moose racing one. It fits much better and is way way better quality. I'll never take a chance on cheap crap air filters again.

Great filter at great price

The filter fits pretty good although one of the three corners usually won't lie totally flush on the filter cage. I just make sure to grease the lip of the filter to make sure nothing gets past it. The filters have a lot of oil on them and stay very tacky. I tried No Toil and I swear they had no oil on them at all. I highly recommend them. 2012 KTM 250XC
