    Great item and great price

These grip warmers were installed on my KLR650. They work great and really keep my hands warm on the cold days. They actually work better than the factory installed grip warmers on my HD CVO. They have a low and high setting but the low is plenty warm for my purposes. I installed the switch into the fixed fairing of the bike and it looks great. MCSS is a great retailer and stands behind what they sell.

    Great value for warm hands

This handwarmer kit represents an excellent value. The heating elements work well, and the necessary switch gear and wiring is included. I recommend using heat shrink tubing (not included) to cover all the connections, including the back of the switch, which is otherwise left exposed to the elements. The switch and connections are very basic, but they work, and I still think they are a reasonable value, considering the low price of the kit.

    poor choice for the switch

The warmers work fine, take a bit longer to warm up than I hoped but not bad for the money. The miniature switch included in this kit is ok if you don't use gloves, but much too small to operate with padded gloves. Needs a bigger switch.

    Warm hands right now

This is my second set. The first on a Triumph Street Triple R and this one on a Yamaha XT250. On the Triumph the throttle side seems to get a little warmer than the clutch but I've noticed no difference on the Yamaha. Unless it's really cold, after being on the high setting to get things warmed up, the lower setting is all you need. Switch placement was a bit of a problem on the XT because there's not much room anywhere behind the cowl. I'm very pleased with the product.

Does what it says, but not quite what I had hoped for

I have a short commute to work (15-20 min). Winter mornings are in the teens or low 20's. I don't have heated gear, but a lined coat and overpants is plenty, except for my hands. I didn't want to buy a regulator just for heated gloves, considering my short commute. I hoped these would do the trick. The grips get hot after 10-15 mins, so I start them before I plan to leave. They mostly heat the palm, and don't help that much with the fingers.

Great product, comes with everything you need, easy install. Kit recommends JB Weld to hold grips on, I skipped that step and they are holding firm (even with grips on high). Very nice addition. I added these and Moose hand guards to my DR350S and can easily ride in the teens.

    Good product, great price!

Not bad for the money, I would recommend them to a friend. Not super warm but I've ridden down to 20 degrees and the heat def increases comfort. Look in to insulating the bars (clutch side) to hold more heat or maybe >$ = >heat? Not bad though...

    Ahhhh, warm hands.

I wired the grips directly to the battery with a relay in between so I would not leave them turned on accidentally and run down the battery. I used the supplied quick connect to tie the relay to the license plate light. I drilled a hole in the instrument panel for the switch and it looks like a factory installation on my Triumph Street Triple R. I haven't had them long enough to give a rating on durability but they work very well so far.

Warm Hands Make of Safe Riding

Until I installed these on my bike, I did not know what I was missing. I am amazed at how much comfort such a simple accessory provides. Somehow, having warm hands while riding not only affects the entire upper body, but it also keeps fingers limber, which improves clutch and brake "feel" and "reaction time" at the controls when it's cold out.

    Handwarmer Kit

These were easy to install using the provided instructions. I installed them under the Pro Grip 719 RVGS Open End Gel Grips, but I wish I had installed them under the original grips, which were thinner. The Pro Grips are a little too thick to allow the heat to flow well. Having said that, the grips still get quite warm and combined with my thinsulate gloves are helpful down to about 35 degrees for city riding.

Chestnuts Roasting on an open Grip Heater...

Santa delivered these under my tree as a gift and I installed them immediately. Had one major issue that was directly my fault: I chose poor grounding - Once I figured that out and provided the heaters with a good & secure grounding they worked like a charm. Since my motorcycle is older (not from Santa), I chose to wire directly to the battery --- In doing so I have to be sure to switch the heaters to "OFF" after each joy-ride...

    Great for the money!

They were somewhat easy to mount. The throttle side had some groves that I had to file away and make flat. I would have liked to see the install instructions before buying to avoid surprises like that. They do seem to take a few minutes to heat up, but I think that it could be caused by my bikes alternator struggling to provide the power. High gets plenty hot, and in 50 degree weather low works just fine. Well worth the money. I would buy again if I needed to.

    Moose Racing Handwarmers

This is by far the best accessory I have installed on my KLR 650. The hardest part was removing the throttle grip, installation instructions were perfect. I rode to work today at 18 degree temps and halfway to work I had to switch to the low setting. This is an awesome product for the money.
