Balaclava

I wore it the first time in 40 degree weather across the desert in California. One issue I did encounter was the cover had a tendency to ride up a little bit when I looked left or right. Did fine, kept head warm and reduced helmet noise. Cannot complain too much about the cost as it goes you get what you pay for.

Klim balaclava.

Good product. Fit is ok wish the product does ride up from nose to eyes. The seam starts to put pressure on lower eyelids causing visual disorientation. And neck portion a little short like others have said. Otherwise if you can get it it to stay put, it does work great at keeping face and neck warm.

Sides come up too high!

Fit: Not so good. Because the sides are cut too high. I have to wear a half Balaclava like a turtleneck so the sides of my neck, top shoulders do not freeze. Even if it did, still cut too high! Does keep my neck warm. Finish: Very Good. Durability: Don’t know. I just got it 6 weeks ago. Features: Looks like it is a mage of different materials in different locations. The back of my head is a little cool. Cost Benefit: I still have to wear something else. May be too high of a cost.

Great for blocking wind on your neck

This balaclava does what it says-stops the wind. It covers your chin and helps keep it warm, and is long enough to go down in the top of your jacket. My husband used it for the first time the other day and said it made a world of difference (in about 50 degree weather).

Works good. Helps out a lot on cold days. Did a 6 hour ride in 40 degrees and stayed very warm.

Great Product

Warm, comfortable, covers the whole face but the eyes. Thin under the helmet. Highly recommend. Much better than the cheaper ones I have owned in the past.

very nice

Keeps my neck and face very warm and fits well under the helmet. The fit around the eyes leaves a bit to be desired and requires some custom modification. The drawback to a "one size fits all" approach.

Klim Balaclava

Well made and durable. It seems to block the cold wind very well and fit snugly. The only issue I have is the skirt seems a little to short. Particularly, along the sides. It kept riding up out of my jacket and allowing cold air to seep in.

This is an excellent piece of gear for cold weather riding. Not bulky and comfortable on head under helmet. Has kept my head and neck warm in temps. down to 40 degrees so far. Love it.

The Klim Sucks

I read several negative reviews about this balaclava before I bought it, but went ahead with my purchase anyway. Big mistake. It's way too short on the sides to offer any real protection and the material is really scratchy underneath my helmet. I do use it though; I put a baseball in the hat, swing it around and let it fly for my dog to retrieve. I get an extra 30 yards due to the hat :)

get what you pay for

Some things you buy to have that yellow K logo on them, some really perform. There are less expensive balaclava's, there are other brands. This one works, the fit is excellent. It fits under a motorcycle helmet easily, and has enough to tuck in your jacket to keep your neck from being iced.

Klim Balaclava

I'm kinda on the fence about this Balaclava. It fits fairly well, have noticed some stretching which is typical but not enough to where it doesn't fit right. I've ridden in the lower 40's with it, 30 mile trip or so. It's not real warm after 30 miles or so, not to me at least and like I said temps in the lower 40's. I had a warmer one but lost it and I rode in the 20's with it and I was plenty cozy, can't say with this one, but with what bit I have used it, it would be better than nothing.
