    My second pair

I have used these gloves for touring on my Hayabusa for 3 years in all weather. Wife just bought me another pair only because dog got one glove. Great gloves. Takes a few rides to break them in and they get real comfortable.

    My second pair

I received these as a gift from my wife for Christmas. She replaced my 4 year old pair my dog decided was a chew toy. The gloves take a few rides to break in but then I use them in all sorts of weather. I tour on a Hayabusa and have done two saddle sore 1000 rides and just a few months ago rode 2500 miles in less than 4 days. Except for the dog chewing on them my old pair looked like new through rain, snow, and very hot weather.

    Alpinestars SP-1 Gloves

I really appreciate these gloves. They fit perfect and I can understand now that you get what you pay for. As for sizing, I wear a small and order a small and broke them in and it’s all good.

    performance gloves

I have been riding for forty years and never found a glove that does everything I want like the SP1. I am on my third pair now and when they wear out (like all gloves do); I will buy my fourth pair.

    Worth the extra $

Very high quality gloves for street riding and even track. I'm glad I went with these instead of the sp-2. Oh yeah, like everyone else has said, go a size bigger.

    Tough for larger hands

I have large hands with long skinny fingers and correctly ordered a size up to make sure the fingers were long enough. The length was perfect, but the fingers were too "fat". Other than that I was a little disappointed with the quality of the gloves. The double velcro system made taking them off a pain and the inside felt a little rough.

    Decent, but not great.

Gloves feel like they'll do their job for my upcoming track day. Fitment, however, is a little off. Feels really tight around the base of my thumb and around my hand.. and the ring/pinky fingers are awkwardly long. Overall quality seems good, but the price is too high.

    Alpinestars SP-1

No wonder Alpinestars outfits Moto GP riders. These gloves are golden. Perfect fit, feel and protection. They look terrific with an Alpinestars boot and slider. I can't say enough about these gloves. They are definitely a glove to own.

    Returned after 2nd Exchange

I usually wear an XL sized glove. Having been warned in other reviews about how small these gloves run, 1st pair I bought was an XL, the second pair I returned was a 2XL. I give up. I guess I need to buy these in person.

    Good, Solid Product

Bought these for riding my Kawasaki Ninja, for the protection and comfort. Protection - A+. Well designed, Alpinestars thought of everything one might want in hand protection. Cuff is particularly well done and provides good support. The gloves flex well at the wrist; I've had some that are stiff in the wrist area and after about 30 - 45 minutes you'll feel it in your hands, but these don't cause any problems. Only criticism is that the fingers tend to be a bit short. I ordered a large (which I usually wear in a motorcycle glove) and the fingers were WAY too small; and even with an XL, I'm at the limit of the glove. Order up a size if you've got relatively longer fingers.
