Crap welds

Was initially happy with these no cut frame sliders, until last week. Bike was bumped on right side and slider literally popped off. Further look shows rust under tab edge puck attached to and only two small welds. Have not been able to reach manufacturer to see what they wish to do to correct their defective product.

Great product Overall

I've had frame sliders on just about every bike I have ever had. They are the best things ever if someone tips your bike over. These went on with little to no issue. However, there must have been a design change in the last few years. On the 2009 models of ZX6R's, these were a truly no cut product. On the 2012, I had to trip a cover piece on the inside in order to get these to fit. This is also stated in the instructions. Which means, these are not no cut as stated by the product ID. While you do not have to cut the fairings, you will have to trim a tab off. Fit is dinged 1 star because of this. Otherwise it is an excellent product. Installation of this product was pretty simple, however, the sliders and bolts need to be labeled properly by side. While I've installed a few and know to pull the long side first, a new person installing these would not know the difference. I dinged the installation 1 star. Otherwise, these are excellent and fit very well on 2009 - 2012 ZX6R's.

Good framesliders

I bought my 2003 SV650s and it came with these framesliders, my first day riding I high sided around a turn at about 30mph.. I was a little banged up, but not too bad. My foot peg and rear break pedal snapped off the bike. I don't know how much more the frame sliders could have done if they were a different set. These are pretty long so they keep the bike a little more off the ground. Besides all that, my fairings didn't come out too bad. I cant imagine if I didn't have them on, I know it'd be ugly though. After that, I reordered them and haven't needed them since. Install was easy enough. not too expensive! The only reason I ding them a star under recommend, is because I haven't used anything else. So I don't know what else is out there.

Great!

These guys always ship super fast! The frame sliders fit perfect. Actually dropped my Gixxer two weeks after I had put them on and the puck ground down a little bit instead of shattering like the previous sliders that were on my bike. Will buy again.

Great look good protection

Looks a little cheap, however best bang for the buck. Installation needed a rubber mallet to seat the frame sliders in the frame recess.

Tight fit 05 CBR1000rr

Tight fit, the mounting bolts are a bit too long on the end cap and pushes on the fairing plastic when installed. I had to make a half inch spacer so that the fairing would not bind on mounting bolt when tightened down. Other than that issue they are great, look nice and seem strong.

Pretty Elementary, My Dear Watson

An unsophisticated product but fit as advertised and no negative comments to be issued. Instructions left a lot to the imagination and there were no specs for the correct torque but I figured that one out. Good price and good service from Motorcycle Superstore.

Shogun no-cut frame sliders

As advertised, very quick and simple installation by myself on my 2000 CBR929. Seem sturdy, but I hope I never find out if they actually work.

Too Short for the CBR600 F4i

Purchased these for my F4i and after cutting my fairings, was disappointed to find out that they only extend about 1cm past the fairings so will offer very little protection in a spill. Quality is great, and I'm sure they're great for other bikes, but do not really serve a purpose on the F4i. Be sure to buy 4" extended sliders for this bike as I switched to these and they'll offer much better protection.

Shogun Sliders on my FZ6

These are frame sliders - no more no less. I am happy with them and would buy again. Took less than 10 minutes to mount on my 05 FZ6. Directions were not included but are available on the Shogun website. The only tools you need are a ratchet and 8mm hex bit and the two Shogun bolts replace the OEM bolts on either side of the frame. No cutting, no mods needed. Could not have been easier really and these were a good value versus other, more expensive sliders.

GREAT FRAME SLIDERS!

Installed on an 07 Yamaha FZ1 in no more than 10 minutes, and this is the first time I've ever installed sliders. Look and feel is solid with good hardware, fit like a champ, and would definitely recommend.
