    Completely satisfied

The jacket met my expectations fully. I am 6'3" and 190 Lbs. The XLL fits me just right. I am impressed by the build quality and features. Very well constructed. From my experience wearing the jacket so far it is quite versatile, comfortable in temps from 50's to high 80's. Just layer underneath for the cooler days. Great buy.

    RUSH MESH FOR THE LANKY

I'm 73+", 170 lbs (33" waist), and 36-37" sleeve length. Also a bit muscular in the upper chest with broad shoulders. The LT was a little snug around the chest and the sleeves were too short but otherwise it fit well. I exchanged for an XLT and the sleeve length is fine, but the rest of the jacket is somewhat baggy, especially around the waist. Additional side snaps or Velcro adjustments on the sides and sleeves would have snugged it up some. I'll never find anything to fit exactly, so I'm keeping it.

Firstgear - Rush Mesh Jacket-best lightweight summer jacket

This summer has had warm to hot afternoons and almost 20°cooler in the mornings here in the Northwest. I lightened the jacket down to mesh by removing the liner and all but the back armor. Then I slip on ultralight G-force bicycle armor over a long sleeve tee-shirt. Set up this way it makes for a great commute, something I will wear until the weather turns cooler with rain. For the moment I find the FIRSTGEAR- Rush Mesh Jacket fits great and is the best summer weight jacket for me.

    Sleeves not long enough

Bought the XL TALL. I'm 195, 6'5" with 36/37 sleeve length, and this has sleeves that are about an inch and a half to two inches too short. Fit everywhere else is good. Fantastic jacket if your sleeve length is less than 35.

    Good Basic hot weather jacket

For an inexpensive basic hot weather jacket, very nice. My complaints are minor. I wish for an outside pockets on the chest or upper sleeve, for my MP3 player. The airflow is good on hot days, fits true to size. 5'11" 200 lbs. athletic build, ordered XL and fits well on the upper body, wish the waist was a bit more tapered, but common with any jacket I own.

    Another great Firstgear Jacket

I don't know how Firstgear does it, but they make really high quality motorcycle gear for a decent price. What I like? Very breathable in the heat. Bright high viz color. Nice pockets. No loose threads. A decent liner if the temps drop. Nice armor. What I don't like? Not stylish. Sizing is a bit tight. 250 denier nylon not very tough. Well worth the price.

    Perfect jacket for all seasons

I love this jacket. Wasn't too sure when I ordered it, but it has exceeded my expectations. Perfect for hot weather, perfect for chilly weather. Also very comfortable. It's short - but it doesn't creep or bunch up, either. I bought the size that I measured to, and am satisfied.

    Good tall sizing

I ordered this jacket because it comes in tall sizes. I was after a bright colored, summer, mesh-style jacket. I'm 6'8" tall, 250 lbs and wear a 17.5/38 shirt and 48 extra long suit coat. The XL Tall was too small. The XXL Tall was a keeper. I'd like another inch or two in the sleeves and 2 or 3" the back length, but the XXL Tall does fit adequately as sold. I'm wearing it and liking it.

    It really works !!

Have only taken one ride with this jacket but it has worked very well, it was 106 degrees and was suprised how well it kept me cool. The XL tall fit me very well and the arms were long enough. The armor seems to move around a little but stays in place once you get moving. Very nice jacket and a good value.

    Excellent Jacket

An improvement on my first First Gear being lighter weight and having more pockets. There are a couple of areas it can improve: First, I like velcro at the sleeves, not a snap. Second, the elbow armor moves a bit putting the jacket on, and the lining allows you to feel the edges of the armor. Third, an interior edge pocket on the right would allow the left hand ability to access things. Fourth, the collar is not as comfortable or as high as I'd like. All minor complaints.

Dayglo mesh jacket good for 60 degrees and above

Got for summer jacket. Most other reviews were accurate. I got XL for 5'9", 210 lbs, stocky but not fat and fit is good but no room for thick under layers. Pockets good size, with zippers. I add a wool dickey to cover my throat in 50's. A few minutes to put the liner in/out. On 80 degree day the breeze through the jacket was very nice. Short sleeves under the jacket make a difference in keeping cooler. I would recommend this jacket for summer.

    Well engineered Jacket

Great jacket, comfortable and versatile for most weather conditions. The liner makes it great for cool days, and taken out the jacket is cool on the hot ones.

    Nice jacket

Bought a bike after 40 year hiatus & was impressed with how many people in cars were trying to kill me! Bought 1st Gear Rush jacket in day-glo & blk & feel very visible out there. Went thru 3 other jackets to get the right fit, & Motorcycle Superstore treated me well. Had to call on 1 order & spoke with a very helpful woman who took care of my issue. I gave the jacket a 4 on durability only because it's new & hasn't had opportunity to pass the test of time.

    Day glow mesh jacket

Good value for the price. Fit a little small. Great for hot weather riding, will keep you cool. The liner finish details could be better, I use the liner From my other first gear Rainier jacket. I will be willing to pay a little more for a better liner on this jacket
