Firstgear - Rush Mesh Jacket

I searched for several weeks for a motorcycle jacket with features and color. I visited several local stores and online stores before finding the one from Motorcycle Superstore. I needed a jacket with "dayglo" yellow, that had good airflow, and where I could have a liner or not depending on the weather. Everything about the jacket meets my needs. Motorcycle Superstore had a good price and met my needs with shipping. I really like the jacket and service I purchased from MotorcycleSuperstore.com

Nice bright visible color...doesn't have vents as far as I can tell...that’s the only drawback

Great Jacket

This Jacket is of highest quality. This jacket exceeded my expectations. With the liner in, it blocks out the wind and is warm. With the liner out, it is cool, letting the air rush through the mesh. I wore it on an 85 degree day and it still felt cool. Great shoulder and elbow protection. Nice sized (hidden) pockets. All in all I rate this jacket as GREAT!

Safe and cool, plus lots of storage

I was looking for something to wear in the summer months that was safe, but not too hot. This has worked very well. Also, I love all the pockets and storage area.

Rush Mesh Jacket

I am 5'11 and 230 and the XL Tall fits pretty well. As a summer jacket worn for visibility. Would rather wear anything but this obnoxious in your face yellow but definitely feel safer with it on. The wind flows right through it, not bad to wear even on the hottest days. Like the pockets.

Firstgear Rush Mesh

Every Firstgear product I have ever owned has been of the finest quality and durability; the Rush Mesh jacket continues this lineage. Hard to find at this point in the riding season, but Motorcycle Superstore had them in stock and at a great price. My jacket was delivered nicely wrapped and with quality.

Dayglo mesh jacket good for 60 degrees and above

Got for summer jacket. Most other reviews were accurate. I got XL for 5'9", 210 lbs, stocky but not fat and fit is good but no room for thick under layers. Pockets good size, with zippers. I add a wool dickey to cover my throat in 50's. A few minutes to put the liner in/out. On 80 degree day the breeze through the jacket was very nice. Short sleeves under the jacket make a difference in keeping cooler. I would recommend this jacket for summer.

Nice

I live in south Texas by San Antonio and it gets hot down here. This jacket lets the wind through and keeps you cool. My wife want's one now.

Perfect jacket for all seasons

I love this jacket. Wasn't too sure when I ordered it, but it has exceeded my expectations. Perfect for hot weather, perfect for chilly weather. Also very comfortable. It's short - but it doesn't creep or bunch up, either. I bought the size that I measured to, and am satisfied.

RUSH MESH FOR THE LANKY

I'm 73+", 170 lbs (33" waist), and 36-37" sleeve length. Also a bit muscular in the upper chest with broad shoulders. The LT was a little snug around the chest and the sleeves were too short but otherwise it fit well. I exchanged for an XLT and the sleeve length is fine, but the rest of the jacket is somewhat baggy, especially around the waist. Additional side snaps or Velcro adjustments on the sides and sleeves would have snugged it up some. I'll never find anything to fit exactly, so I'm keeping it.

Completely satisfied

The jacket met my expectations fully. I am 6'3" and 190 Lbs. The XLL fits me just right. I am impressed by the build quality and features. Very well constructed. From my experience wearing the jacket so far it is quite versatile, comfortable in temps from 50's to high 80's. Just layer underneath for the cooler days. Great buy.

Impressed

I was impressed with the jacket right out of the box! Well packaged and delivered quickly. I only gave one mark down for durability, It is a mesh jacket...I will have to be careful not to snag it on stuff. I have only worn it on 1 ride so far (it has been cold) can't wait to try it in Utah heat. The color will get everyone’s attention, but that is why I bought it. I usually wear a 2X so that is what I bought, might be a bit big once I remove the liner. The black sleeves add a bit of class to the jacket. And the price was good.
