I really liked the way it fit, and it would have been the most airy jacket ever, but unfortunately it offers absolutely no protection. The armor would not be effective (about 1/4 inch foam for the spine protector - if that), I have seen sturdier packing material and because of that my husband simply wouldn't allow me to keep it. The entire point of these jackets is for protection and this just doesn't fit the bill. If you want to look cool, feel cool, and maybe need something to protect you from a sunburn this will do the trick, but just don't fall cause it would be devastating. If you plan on buying sturdier armor to put in it, it would be fine, but at that rate just buy a jacket that has better protection. I tried to put my Icon armor in it and it just didn't fit correctly. I expected better from Fly. Bottom line, I love the jacket, but it has no actual use.

This is a well-fitting, stylish, and practical jacket. The zip out liner is perfect for those cool days. Without the liner, the jacket is great for warmer days. It is waterproof, however I have not tested it in more than misty rain. The venting is nice, the included shoulder, elbow and back armor are not too cumbersome. I love the many adjustments to personalize the fit.

Just got this in the mail and tried it on around the house so I will update as I have more experience but this site is painfully without reviews, so... First impression is great! It has all the bells and whistles you would want! AND they seem quality!! Very pumped. The fit is very fitted, for lack of a better word, but the shoulders, arm length and torso are spot on, and break in is always expected in protective leather jackets, but for now I feel a bit like C3PO. For reference, I'm 5'8", 148 lbs, 35" chest, 30" waist, 40" hips. I got the size 40, so you'll see I just followed the size chart. The jacket is heavy, which I personally look for in something that should protect me from the road. As for layering, however, a fitted long sleeve will have to suffice until the arms loosen, so glad it doesn't have venting... Pockets. This is important for me! The outside pockets are surprisingly roomy. The little top pocket by the neck is probably just going to have chap stick but the outside pockets can accommodate quite a bit. Mine will probably have proof of insurance and title. The inside pocket is awkward. The opening is up against your breast, and the C3PO arms make it a bit tough to get anything in it, especially to the depths... Up side, however, is that it's big! I listen to music and directions through ear buds on longer trips and I will definitely have room for my iPhone 6 and Skull Candys in this pocket. Yay! One last thing-the length. I got this jacket because I have a Roland Sands Maven, and it is beautiful, but it is NOT for cooler weather. The perforation and length had me cold in glacier in early August, even with 2 long layers beneath it. This jacket is to be my cold weather jacket, so I was glad of the lack of venting, but hoped it would be long enough to cover my lower back on my long torso!! So far so good, and I'm pumped for the pants connecting zipper option and belt loops! All in all, I'm REALLY HAPPY!! (And as you probably noticed, I'm a bit picky!!)

I was looking for something more light weight then my leather jacket. This jacket provides more flexibility with two separate zip in components. I'm typically a size 10-12 and the L fits really nicely. The elbow, shoulder and back protective pieces take a little getting used to, but overall I'm happy with the jacket. I do wish it had a few more reflective features for night riding.

For the price you cannot beat the design details and versatility of this coat. I am 5'11" and 170lbs and found all of the adjustable straps provide a flattering fit w/ sleeves that are actually plenty long and the overall length covered my lower back with coat length to spare!. I removed the vest and wore my heated liner instead and was very comfortable at 40 F Seattle day.
