Z1R - Venom Solid Helmet

This is the best fitting and most comfortable helmet I've ever owned. Did some fairly extensive research and tried on MANY, MANY helmets regardless of price range...The fit, style, COMFORT, air-flow, safety test results, dual ECE and DOT safety ratings, and cost value make this helmet a true standout in my opinion.

Mr.

Very good helmet for the little money it costs the thing that sold me was the reviews on the tests done on helmets it came out on top of the heap for safety and doing the job it was made for. A quiet helmet no more noisy or heavy than the Shoei I had before good helmet good price. I had to list my home state as Georgia because they did not Florida on their list guess we don't count. First helmet I've owned and I'm pretty happy with it. Fits and feels good. Only negative was a slight fog and some noise (nothing unbearable).

Thought helmet was really snug around cheek area to the point I had to be carefull not to open mouth very wide for fear of biting inner cheek. Helmet fit snug and was advised that it would open up and be fine. Did so and during the week I used it on my ride to work found to be very disappointed with wind noise and whistling when turned to either side. Chose to return. Opening and closing vent noticed no change. Returned and found another Z1R Strike like I had owned prior.

This helmet is comfortable, but snug. It has more wind noise than I would expect from a full face, but this is my first. I ride with a full windshield and I still get a lot of wind noise. No wind noise if I fully raise the shield. It fogs slightly when cold so I crack the shield one notch until I get moving. Once moving, the fog disappears.
