Product Information

Michelin Pilot Power 2 CT Rear Tire

Being the first dual-compound performance tire with an intermediate compound in the center of the tread for durability, and a softer compound on the shoulders for cornering grip, the Pilot Power 2CT is the tire for demanding sport bike riders who want to push the limit whether on the street or track.
  • Rubber compounds developed through Moto GP racing require minimal warm up time
  • The softest rubber mix in its class for remarkable grip and maintains performance even at advanced stages of wear
  • Unprecedented lean angles 50.6 degrees dry and 41.9 in the wet
  • Rubber mix remains tacky even at low temperatures
  • Grooved area is less than 12% of the tire area for phenomenal cornering adhesion
  • W-rated for speeds up to 168 mph

can't even believe it

So I just installed these tires.. I was sooo on the fence about which tires to get.. The hot summer roads eating away my regular pilot powers too quickly made me turn toward the 2ct.. They are ridiculous.. I will never buy another brand.. They are sooo sticky on the sides (even right out of the driveway).. And I just took a 1200 mile trip to las vegas on the bike, so stable on the windy mountain highways... and you can barely tell I’ve even rode on them.. Amazing and worth the extra couple dollars!

THESE TIRES ARE AMAZING

I have a 2006 GSXR 1000. I had Dunlop qualifiers before and I will never go back. These tires are amazing, it is a whole new ride, they feel 100000000000 times better and they are worth the money 100%. Michelin did an excellent job with these, I am a customer for life.

Excellent tire. I do a lot of diverse riding and this tire takes care of business! Sticks to the road like fly paper. Traction is your friend with my Michelin Pilot Powers! Don't leave home without em.

Great Tire

I recommend the pp2ct to anyone who rides sportbikes. The tire grips like glue. The center wear is good as it can be for a sportbike tire. I bought my last pair of the pp2ct's from this company and shipping was very quick. Plus, can't beat their price.

Best tire yet

The Michelin Power 2CT is by far the best tire I've rode on so far. It is definitely confidence inspiring to say the least. I'm more eager to lean a little farther over than I was even on the qualifiers. It might wear out a little quicker due to the soft tread, but extra cost is worth it.

Amazing

For the longest time I would not put anything on my ZX11 but Dunlop Qualifiers. I decided to try something new 2 days ago and got a pair of pp 2cts mounted on my bike. I have to admit it, as soon as I got on my bike and took off I could already feel a huge difference. The mechanic told me to make sure I get a hundred miles on them before I get in the corners. I have to be honest if they handle this great already I can't wait till my one hundredth and one mile. If you are serious about riding I recommend you do it on a pair of pp 2cts. Oh yeah my chicken strip continues to get smaller and smaller. I guess I didn't take the mechanics advice and boy do they feel good in those corners

awesome tire

As a person that is going to rely on a great tire for my business and promotional needs I wanted a trusted name for a tire. The moment I had these put on, what an improvement and feeling of lean confidence. I love the fact that it is a dual compound tire for the highway and twisty roads. It is a very reasonable tire for the price. I would buy them again. Thank you Michelin and Motorcycle Superstore.

Epic tire!

I upgraded to this tire from the Dunlop Sportmaxx based on reviews and friends telling me it is the best; well I must agree, this tire is absolutely amazing. Cornering is superb, traction is very good under all conditions, and I just feel glued to the road at all speeds. I would highly recommend this tire for anyone with a sport bike that likes corners especially at decent speeds.

simply great

By far the best tire that I have used on my bike, the grip on it is excellent, you feel like you are hugging the road, so will definitely buy them again when the time comes.
