Michelin Pilot Power 2 CT Rear Tire

Being the first dual-compound performance tire with an intermediate compound in the center of the tread for durability, and a softer compound on the shoulders for cornering grip, the Pilot Power 2CT is the tire for demanding sport bike riders who want to push the limit whether on the street or track.
    • Rubber compounds developed through Moto GP racing require minimal warm up time
    • The softest rubber mix in its class for remarkable grip and maintains performance even at advanced stages of wear
    • Unprecedented lean angles 50.6 degrees dry and 41.9 in the wet
    • Rubber mix remains tacky even at low temperatures
    • Grooved area is less than 12% of the tire area for phenomenal cornering adhesion
    • W-rated for speeds up to 168 mph

These tires are the best choice I ever made. My bike handles so much better now thanks to these tires.

    Awesome Tires

I have an 08 GSXR 750 and I was a bit worried with getting new tires, especially with the Canadian climate and how much its changing from hot to cold weather. These tires are awesome at high speeds, hard cornering and rough roads. I love the grip these tires have, even in the heavy rain I had to squeeze my breaks due to a car pulling out in front of me and they gripped really nice. I would recomend these tires to anyone on a sport bike.

    Second set

Though I am no Marc Marquez these tires give me confidence in the corners- they really grip. I only rode in the rain twice, hard rains to be exact, but no issues either time. I got 5400 miles out of the first, which I am okay with since I was after a sticky tire to start. I like the price of these tires for the performance they provide. I will continue to buy them until they are no longer available.

    A Very Good Tire!

I ride a 2013 ZX14R and I don’t think there is a better tire out there for the money, or for my bike. I’m on my 3rd set of 2CT’s and I’m averaging about 5,000 miles per set. Dry traction, stability and cornering are incredible! And wet traction is very good! I actually ended up getting caught in the snow and the tire did very well on the sloppy two hour ride. I do love this tire and I am looking forward to going to the replacement, which is the Pilot Power 3!

2nd Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Rear Tire on 2004 FZ1 Yamaha

This is my 2nd Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Rear Tire on my 2004 FZ1 Yamaha. I got 3,912 miles on the 1st and reordered (could have gotten 500 more, but wanted to change tire before spring starts). Most mileage is highway to work but living close to the Ozark mountains I like to be able to hit the twisties hard and not worry. That is why this tire is perfect for my riding needs. Changed front at the same time as the first rear and it looks great still. This is also a Michelin Pilot Power 2CT.

    Great Tires

Purchased a set of front & rear tires to put on my 2005 Honda CBR600RR. I rode it for about 1000km now. It feels great, rides are more stable when I am cornering and I gain much more confidence in my ride.

Good center-line life, reasonably stiff sidewall and a very predictable slip profile. When they start to give you get a noticeable amount of "apprehensive slip" – run it across fresh yellow lines at ¾ lean if you’re unfamiliar with that sensation. Very good tire for heavy street / light track use. Always match your front/rear as a pair. Mismatched tires lead to a bike with the rubber side up!

    Good Tire so far

Switched from the Q2 because both front and rear tires on the 2CT's are dual compound. they warm up well, I have half inch chicken strips with no slipping and I don't care how long they last if they perform which these do. I haven't had any problems in the rain either.

This is my fourth Michelin tire and I haven't even thought about any other type for my '07 GSX-R750. I average between 13 and 14K with very few twisties in between. My original tires were wasted at 4K. Awesome tire for the price. Michelin rocks!

    Excellent tire

I ride an 03 kawasaki zx636. Great tire, grips well. Definitely helps with corner confidence. Wet traction is okay, nothing good throttle control can't fix. As far as tire life I can't say too much. I have around 500 miles on it so far and I can tell that the tire is slowly getting flat in the middle. I don't run an extremely high psi just because I like to insure I'll have grip. Bottom line: grips great, even right out of the box. Would buy again.
