AWESOME!!!

Awesome! That is all I can say about this jacket. When I first purchased the jacket I was torn between this one and the leather. But, I don't like the leather in the summertime and I wanted to breathe with the wind. Once I got it, I loved it. I have the black, and I will always roll with this. Thank you ICON!

Amazing Jacket

Let me start off by saying that this jacket is amazing. FIT: Fit is amazing. Especially being a perforated mesh jacket with flexible side panels, the jacket will fit you comfortably. FINISH: Appearance is killer and the overall finish is awesome. DURABILITY: Unfortunately, I was in a rear-end accident but I was OK (bike only received mostly cosmetic damages) and this jacket saved me from any abrasions, bruises, wounds, and bleeds. VERY TOUGH JACKET. FEATURES: Convenient storage pockets for cell phone, ipod, wallet on inside COST BENEFIT: TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY!!!! AND YOU can wear this in 90-95 degree weather comfortably. Even the intersections are bearable in this jacket. The ventilation is amazingly efficient in keeping you cool due to the prevalent perforation throughout the jacket. Worth the buy!!!!!!!!!

My favorite jacket

When I first got this jacket, I thought that it was too thick to ride in the summer. Boy, was I wrong. I went riding on a 90 degree day and felt cool all day. It was even more comfortable than my mesh summer jacket. However, it is even adequate when riding in 40 degree, windy weather. The material feels very strong and instills confidence. This is my favorite jacket and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality jacket.

Icon TiMAX 2 Mesh Jacket

This jacket is definitely worth every penny and then some. It fits great, it looks awesome, and it's fantastic for warm weather riding (haven't had a chance to test it below 60 degrees yet). I unfortunately had the chance to test the gear out in a spill and am very pleased to say they didn't skimp on protection. This jacket definitely saved my skin and although it got a little scuffed up, it didn't even tear.

Great riding jacket

This jacket is outstanding. It fits very comfortably in my riding position. The jacket feels tough and durable but not at all restricting. The perforation works extremely well and even in southern California heat, I've only felt hot after I stop and get off the bike or in my garage. I wouldn't recommend this jacket if you live in a cold area (at least not without a long sleeve shirt underneath). I was also very pleased with the price. This jacket costs about $200 less than the other jacket I was considering and I cannot see how it could be improved. The features have all I need including removable elbow protection and two inside pockets that zip closed. Overall it is an outstanding product.

TiMax mesh jacket

This jacket is the bomb!! With the lining zipped out, air flows through pretty nicely. The lining makes the jacket warmer, and should be ok down to 50 degrees with a short shirt under. Fit and finish are excellent. Icon rules!! I will purchase more Icon in the future.

Great Jacket

Got this jacket for the hot summer days. With the liner out I don't get any warmer then if I was wearing a t-shirt. It's been 40-50 degrees and cloudy for the past week so I decided to test out how well it handled in cold weather. With the liner in it's as warm as a winter coat. My only gripe is the liner is not a rain liner, just insulating.

This is a fantastic jacket! It is well ventilated and the liner keeps you warm in the cold! The armor is legitimate and makes me feel relatively safe. Great price and it looks COOOOOOOOL! Many Thanks ICON.

Great Jacket

A great looking jacket, a definite head turner. Fits like a glove and the design is awesome. Managed to keep cool and breezy even under 90+ degrees conditions. Good value for money.

Good jacket for general use

I have the XL Red and am generally happy with my purchase. The fit is pretty good. I just wish the sleeves were maybe a little longer when on the bike. A set of longer gloves would solve this problem for sure. The jacket seems pretty durable and is well padded. It has padding in all the right areas, and includes light forearm armor built in. The jacket inspires confidence since you feel well protected wearing this. The mesh jacket flows a tremendous amount of air, so make sure you are getting the right jacket for your needs. On hot days though, no jacket will keep you cool at low speeds. Sitting at extended stop lights in 80 plus weather I felt the temp rising, but as soon as I got moving again I cooled right off. I have yet to wear the liner. In the mean time I wear a long sleeve t-shirt underneath on some of the recent 50 degree mornings around here and have been ok. The jacket has two zippered pouches inside for holding stuff, but it would have been nice to have a grommet for ear buds since I usually put my cell phone in one of those pouches. Overall I'm happy with the jacket, and you can't beat the price!

Nice cool jacket...

Yep, I've had this jacket for a couple of months now, and have been using it for a about 2 weeks to ride to work in. When the mornings are cool and it's about 50+ out, I can still wear a long sleeved shirt under this jacket and be comfortable without being too cold. And that's without installing the insulated liner that it comes with! So I would rate this jacket to be good for temps probably between 45-85, even higher is you don't expect to be stuck in traffic. If you do get stuck in traffic, once you start moving again, this jacket will cool you down INSTANTLY with out you feeling like you're going to get chilled to the bone. Also, if you're going to wear this jacket in the rain, DON'T! Air goes right through it, so it only stands to reason that if the air moves that quickly through it, then the rain will, too! If it's going to be wet out, either wear a different jacket, or get a decent rain suit (I prefer the 2 piece). I got the white, because I feel that it's better to be seen, rather than to be a hood ornament! Also, it's supposed to be cooler in bright light, and is easier to see both in the day time and at night.
