If you're a big guy, it's not that great

If you have a thin frame and thin neck, this will work for you. Anyways, I have a 44 or so chest and a 17.5" or so neck. I found it didn't want to sit down on the shoulders properly; it would ride up and back because the brace couldn't spread open enough to fit on my larger frame. Then of course you rub your neck raw. The straps and buckles are a pain to setup initially.

    Excellent Neck Brace

I tried several other braces and the fit did not come near the fit and comfort of the Omega. I especially like the fact that the brace does not rest on my spine. The suspension system works extremely well with my large shoulders.

    Seems to work

Took a bit of fussing to adjust it the first time. No problem. My only other concern was keeping it down in the front. Fortunately I wear a chest protector. I extended the front straps enough that the around-the-chest strap is below the chest protector, which helps hold down the Omega.

Great design / cheap straps and clips

Bought this for my son who races motocross. He loves it. Very comfortable and works well with his Fox Airframe chest protector. This thing is very adjustable except for the neck size. If you have a big neck 18” or larger this isn't for you. The other drawback is the cheap straps and fasteners. One of the clips that hold the strap to the unit broke the first day. I have not found replacements so I am making my own up. They need better customer support and better straps and clips but overall I like the brace.

Omega Neck Brace - Great Option

I found the Omega neck brace after investing all the others. I was looking for value and function. The concept behind the Omega brace that attracted me the most was the distribution of the force in a wider pattern instead of down the spine or sternum. The only drawback is the brace is not adjustable as far as width goes. I have a 17 1/2 inch neck and after the first day of riding I had been rubbed raw. After a few more rides it doesn't bother me and I don't tend to notice it anymore. I also have not found a way to fit this device under my jersey and over my Rock Garden protective vest.

    Omega brace

By far the best I've ever tried. Most freedom and adjustability.

    great product

This is designed like the hans device in nascar. I appears to look cheap in the picture but I bought this and used it last week in a race and its awesome. Fits great, has numerous adjustments up/down. With and under or chest protector. I have a leatt that I was sharing with my husband. I liked it but after wearing this, I think I am sticking with the omega. It’s durable and comfortable but provides all the safety benefits of the leatt with more adjustments for fit.
