Bell Helmets continues to climb its way to the top of the dirt market with the all new Bell Moto 9. Bell went back to the drawing board and designed the Moto 9 from scratch. With direct input from James Stewart, Bell has been able to produce a better fitting, better venting and most importantly, a safer helmet.
One of the first things you will notice about the Moto 9 is the comfort. Constructed with a tri-weave matrix shell, consisting of fiberglass, Kevlar and carbon fiber, this helmet is light. In addition, Bell has implemented a fully removable and washable X-Static silver lined Extended Wear interior. The X-Static silver liner is anti-microbial and helps prevent most odor causing bacteria. The liner is very plush and makes wearing the helmet a very enjoyable experience. Multiple air ducts around the helmet make the Moto 9 one of the most breathable helmets on the market. With a flexible visor and quick-flip visor screws, Bell designers show that they have left no stone unturned on the Moto 9.
Maximizing safety is the ultimate goal of a race helmet like the Moto 9. With this always at the top of Bell’s priorities, Bell has integrated features that make this helmet stand above the rest. The Moto 9 features Magnafusion Emergency Removal System cheek pads (MERS). The MERS cheek pads allow EMTs to safely remove the pads and slide off the helmet without any obstruction or movement of the spine. Also, the foam shell has a cut-away for the “Hats Off” air bag that is required for pro racing. This allows the Hats Off device to be installed within the helmet rather than between the liner and shell. To top it all off the Moto 9 is Snell M2010 and DOT certified, giving you peace of mind.
The Bell Moto 9 dirt bike helmet is one of the most advanced pieces of motocross protection ever made. With a wide variety of cool graphics, optimal safety, and stellar performance, the Moto 9 stands out. That’s why Bell was Motorcycle Superstore’s first choice when creating our team helmet.
