Kick Start Models:Front turn signals, Horn, battery and regulator/rectifier are conveniently pre-mounted on the headlight. Able to use on any kick start bike.

Electric Start Models: Front turn signals and horn are conveniently pre-mounted on the headlight. Stock with D.O.T. rear turn signals, mount to existing rear fender.

Bike specific kits: wire lengths and connectors designed per bike. Race lighting will work on bikes with this dual sport kit.

Great kit, good instructions, well-built, easy install, a bit pricey.

Nice kit. Heavy, but solid, good wiring, well-built and secure on the bike. Horn is loud, and lights are bright in daylight, running the stock stator. Directions were good. I installed in 6 hours, with extra time taken to make a super-sano factory-looking install. Everything I needed to dual-sport my XR650R was included, except mirror, and a second hydraulic brake switch for the front brake. Texas state inspector required TWO switches, both front and rear. Steep price, but a good product.

Great Kit

Installed on CRF230F. Totally satisfied and pretty easy to install if you have basic mechanical and electrical skills. I would recommend the stator upgrade but it is not a must have if you just want to be street legal so you can ride where off road only bikes are not allowed.

Made my XR100 street legal

Great quality kit. Instructions were pretty easy to understand except for the kill switch / key switch. Wire colors noted were not matching what was on the bike, but after a call to Baja Designs, I got it sorted out. A stator is also required on the kick start XR's to power all the lights, and you need a special puller tool to remove the flywheel to install the stator.

02 crf 450R dual sport

Had to make a few mods but over all very good kit. Had a wire that wasnt crimped coming from the rectafier and causing the bat to not charge,fixed that with some great help from the service rep guy, if you have any problems just call them,they are great and very helpful and have no problem doing whatever they need to get you going and keep you happy, The 450R still has a hard time running lights, but thats just the nature of the beast i guess, i didnt do this for night riding anyways,

Made my TTR legal

Bought this kit to convert my TR230 from strictly trail to combination. The kit basically came with everything needed for installation. The instructions are a bit confusing on some parts particularly involving the headlight/windscreen combination. The provided spacers are not adequate to take up the space and make tight. I do have problems with fuses blowing. I would recommend to others.

Baja Kit for Honda 230

Great kit! Everything worked out well and easy to install. I installed the kit in about 1.5 hours. The only drawback to this kit is that it didn't come with a front brake switch. My 230 doesn't have a banjo bolt so I used an alarm contact instead and worked well. recommend this kit.

Red Sticker Bikes in California.

If you have a red sticker bike you will not be able to make it street legal in California it will not meet the EPA standards.Also note you will need to change out your stock stator. At the DMV and AAA they will have an inspector come out and look at your vin # Number and see if you bike meets EPA standards.

It made me legal

I installed this kit on a honda xr250 2004. It only took me 3 hours until I had issues with the break light not working finally concluded that it was a single bad wire so I ran a new one rather then bothering with returning. never contacted support or the store. Works great I had to splice in a front break switch for MO inspection and it passed. This kit does not have a front break switch included.

I did check with the local state inspection office before attempting the conversion on my CRF230 to street legal. I ended up needing to add a front brake switch which Baja Designs offers, AND a DOT approved chain guard. One note, the headlight and light kit will turn on without the use of the ignition switch. The Baja Kit was a great start but depending on your state you may need to go a couple steps further.

Easy Kit to Install

This was an easy install. The instructions are a bit confusing at first, but makes sense after reading it closely. I put this on a XR650R, fit was really good. Rear tail light vibrates a lot, but not a big deal LED's can handle it better than bulbs. Had to spend extra time on wire harness routing near the t-clamps, lots of rubbing and binding. Finally found a good route around the left side. Battery was completely dead, but I rigged up a transformer to plug in the wall and charged the battery for about an hour. Switch panel is really nice, fits well to my hand size. Overall, the kit is easy to install and works as advertised. It was highly recommended by some folks I talked to, so I went with this one.
