On Any Sunday

I recently bought my 2007 CRF 250X from a buddy. I was warned by many to protect the radiators. I looked at the reviews of the different products available and decided on the MSR unit. Sturdy, well made, and capable of withstanding my abuse to it. I'm a life-long rider, former 250 Pro #1 (1980). I installed the braces in my driveway with a few hand tools and very am happy. Motorcycle Superstore has been a great source for all my parts!

MSR Radiator Braces

Installed these on my 06 WR450f. Very solid and went on with no problems at all. As someone posted earlier, I was able to trim the inside of the shrouds back about a 1/4" and I didn't have to use the supplied spacers. The shrouds aren't much wider than from the factory this way. The top radiator hose is a bit short but will still work ok. I would recommend this product!

Fits like a glove. Was able to put them on my 09 klx450r without having to take any hoses off. They look solid.

Great Radiator Protection

Very beefy braces and should do a great job protecting on my YZ250F. The quality is good and it fits well too. The shrouds won't fit like they did without the braces but, you can trim the inside of the shroud to make it fit better. Overall pretty happy and have very good radiator protection now.

Lower cross brace adjustment

On the 2007 YZ450 the Right side radiator lower cross support will touch the exhaust pipe. By relocating the holes on the side brackets up just a bit, raises the cross support only and gives you plenty of clearance. Otherwise a good solid support.

Tight fit, just like other brands

I've put other radiator braces on and they all are a real pain. The support is great but, getting them on is a pain. I would suggest buying them; they will save your radiators. Just expect to fight to get them to fit.

MSR Braces for 08 Honda CRF450X

I purchased these because they look like clones to the Moose brand, they are. The instructions are terrible, you will need some common sense. I would also suggest at least one other person to help, just to make things easier. Overall the product is nice, if MSR would provide 2 longer bolts for the shrouds on each side, it would go even smoother. My radiators are new, so they bolted on fairly good. Overall, I like the look of these, I hope they do their job when I crash.

MSR Radiator Braces

Although the product was "specified" for my KTM, it was obvious upon inspection it would not fit. The units looked robust and would no doubt have provided excellent protection, however, they were not the correct ones. MC Superstore readily took them back and credited me. Research carefully before ordering - I would suggest the manufactiurers web site or application notes.
