Bridgestone 709

I have a 2010 Wing with the bridgestones. Have 4500 on this set and I am finding that they are already cupped and growling in the corners. Tread life seem good so far. Handling is respectable. Wet with confidence. Sure wish Michelin made a Pilot size for this bike. It would put the "Stones" to shame.

not a trike tire

This tire is not good for trikes. Did well when my 2001 1800 wing was 2 wheels but terrible for front trike tire wear.

Used Bridgestones on my ST1300 and liked them very much so put them on the GL1800. Last front tire had 12800 miles till wear indicator showed. No cupping and kept pressure at 42 #.

Good tire, no tread life

I keep reading about people getting 8, or 10, or 12 thousand miles out of this tire, I get 3500 to 4000 miles out of this front tire.

Bridgestone Exedra G709 Front Tire

This was my first ride on these. Installed on a 2002 GL1800. Really liked the feedback I recieved from this tire on pavement condition and traction when pushed in the corners. Gives plenty of warning for loss of traction and is easy to recover when asked. Haven't had a chance to ride them in the Wet yet. Can't wait to get these down to Deals Gap and surrounding states next spring. Will keep an eye on cupping that happened with both Dunlop Elite 3's and Metzler ME's. Great so far.

Great Tire

The Bridgestone and the Dunlop are the only two recommended for my 2010 Honda Gold Wing, according to the sticker in the trunk of the bike. After using both tires, I can definitely say that I prefer the Bridgestones, especially for stability. Tread life is about the same between the two. I will not be going back to Dunlop.

Best Tire I've ridden.

I had tried several different brands of tires on my 2004 Honda Gold Wing GL1800 before trying the Exedra Tire but, since I did, my search is over.

Much better than the previous OEM tire for the Goldwing. Excellent in all weather, great for sharp turns and cornering. I highly recommend.

Great Tire for a Goldwing

This tire was OEM on my 2013 Goldwing F6B with close to 10 K on tire wear before I changed to Dunlop E3's. I picked up a take off wheel and tire from Ebay that had a Bridgestone OEM mounted so will go back to the Stones for this round. Bottom line, either Dunlop or Bridgestone are good tires for the Wing, heavy bike so around 10K, give or take a bit, is going to be the mileage. Stability, traction and handling on both are good with a bit more noise with the Dunlops.

G709 Bridgestone for GL1800

Best tire for the front of our wing. 6th one installed and 10-13k from them. Will continue buying this from Motorcycle Superstore. Great price and quick shipping.

G709 on Victory Cross Country

I put a set of Bridgestones on my Cross Country at 11,800 miles because the Dunlop E3's that came stock on my bike were worn out and cupping. The handling was much improved, and the life was acceptable compared to the E3s. I've put 17,000 miles on my G709 and while it is worn and needs replacement, it still feels good to me. I think these tires are a great value!! That's why I'm buying another one!!

Better than Dunlop

My 2010 Honda Gold Wing recommends either Dunlop or Bridgestone tires. After two sets of Dunlops, I decided to try the Bridgestones. I was not disappointed. The stability and cornering of the Bridgestone has been better than the Dunlop. Though I only got them about a month ago, I am very impressed. I cannot comment on wet traction or the tread life, but if they equal the Dunlop then I will be getting the Bridgestones from now on without hesitation.

G709

The Bridgestone G709 on the front of my 2004 GL1800 Gold Wing gives me a great service life and perhaps more importantly, better grip of the road surface than I have felt with any other tire that I have ridden on.

This is the best tire I ever put on my GL1800 Goldwing. Monitored 41 lb of tire pressure throughout the life of the tire and made it to the wear marks with only a hint of scalloping. Excellent traction and stability!

Great tire. Original rear tire lasted 9400 miles and had no issues, very satisfied. So far this replacement has the same characteristics as the original. Definitely recommended.
