Don't do it.....

I didn't realize this was an oversize kit when I ordered it. I just wanted a new set of bearings and have generally been pleased with Moose's products. Received the kit, installed it in the hub and could not for the life of me get the bearings centered in the hub, (inner brake pad was dragging). I eventually removed the Moose bearings, went back to stock bearings and had no problem. My best guess is that the spacer tube is just a touch too long and prevents the bearing from seating all the way.

Rear wheel bearing upgrade kit

Great value and quality from Motorcycle Superstore. Fast delivery, easy install. My only complaint is, the instructions could have been more specific about the snap ring. You do not need it with this kit, you can discard it.

Moose Rear Wheel Bearing Upgrade

I now have 13,800 miles on an 04 KTM 525EXC and was having to change my rear wheel bearings about every 1500 miles. I bought "lifetime" spacers and they didn't really help. These bearings are bigger and should carry the load better, the spacers have steel sleeves to eliminate wear and letting water into the hub. Hope it works. I'll give a progress report after 2,000 miles.

KTM wheel bearings

These bearings really are much better than stock. Word of caution to anyone with a KTM, make sure you remove the circlip on the brake side of the wheel before trying to pound out the bearings.....

Bearing Upgrade

Installed easier than expected. Very good quality parts, i would recommend this over the stock 98 300 set up.

Great Bearing Kit

This is a fantastic kit - fit perfect and priced cheaper than the individual components would cost.
