Auto Tune Goodness for your PC V!

What a difference! I was somewhat disappointed with my Power Commander V. I had difficulty tuning the module and with the crazy weather swings we had for a while, it seemed like I spent more time tuning than riding. Backfires, rough cold running, and poor fuel economy were the rule. Then I got my Auto Tune. What a difference! Now I get great cold starts, no backfires, no rough idles, and fuel economy is back to the stock 50+ MPG I got before I added pipes, breather kits, and performance chips. Go ahead...get it. You won't regret it.

DynoJet Power Commander PCV + Auto Tune

I installed a Remus exhaust with the baffle removed, a DynoJet PCV, and a DynoJet AutoTune to accompany it. I had run the bike without the baffle on premade DJ maps and it was very stumbly. With the baffle the bike ran better, but the muffled sound wasn’t for me. When I installed the AutoTune tonight (5 minutes after arrival) I was blown away. The install is extremely straight forward, as was the install for the PCV. The AutoTune made tons of trim adjustments over the course of a 20 minute ride. I will say there is more power...no doubt, how much I couldn’t say. I can say emphatically that as the AutoTune worked through a very short amount of sampling and updating of the mapping the bike became more responsive and smooth. The setup needs much more time, riding styles, and other variables to truly adapt the mapping, but as of now I swear it’s money well spent! A side note...the PAIR valve is still completely untouched. Maybe removal of its effect would help even more.

Another Great Tool for the Power Commander

The Auto Tune is useful to folk who want to do their own tuning and make their own maps for the Power Commander. You must either take your bike to a dyno tuner or buy the auto tune so you can make your own customize air/fuel ratio maps. If you make modifications you need to retune the bike. With the Auto Tune you do it yourself rather than taking it to a shop each time you make a change. The Auto Tune allows you to monitor the changes the PC is making to maintain the air/fuel ratio maps you install. This is a must have for Do-it-Yourself people.

Works Great!

I've read of others having problems with the Autotune Add-on for the PCV. I had no problems. The install was on a 2009 CBR 600RR. I installed everything as instructed and did not run into any problems. I did install a switch to allow a base map and learning mode for the autotune. After the first run, I was sold. The bike is running so smooth, the purchase was worth every penny. Do keep in mind, in order to tune completely, you have to run the bike at various rpms and throttle positions for a full tune and the autotune will take samples and make the trim table. My opinion of a autotune vs a dynotune in reality is a hands down for the autotune as it makes adjustments based on real world conditions such as ram-air, ambient temp, traction, etc... Just my 2cent. Bottom line, if you are a diy kinda person, I would definitely buy one. If you're not and just want the bike tuned, then I would suggest a dynotune.

great product made

This kit allows those who do not wish to pay extra expense for a mechanic to do so when climate in home town changes. This item will do the full adjustment needed to run great in any condition every time.

Release the Beast!!

I installed the PCV w/ Autotune on my 2010 Ultra Limited. The total install took about 30 minutes, but luckily i had no o2 sensor issues because i installed new pipes. The bike runs flawlessly. Excellent torque through the rpm range. Riding 2 up is awesome as well. I have power to spare. A must have for any application.

Power Commander AutoTune

Added to my Power Commander V on my 2004 FLHRCI. After install Customer service at Dynojet stayed on the line and walked me through the set up and adjustments, very patient and professional. You will wait on hold for Dynojet Customer Service, it's worth it. You will need Customer Service from Dynojet so they can help you set it up so your map so it adjusts both cylinders separately. If you install an AutoTune and don't notice a difference in performance and fuel mileage you did something wrong.

Autotune Z1000

Along with the PCV the fact that you have a tool that allows you to play around with Air Fuel Ratios and this device work the PCV until it attains your AFR Targets! Priceless! For a DIY mechanic, this is invaluable, you can tweak and tune to your hearts content.

Does What It's Supposed To

Installation was easy but a little tight on my '09 Road King. After spending a little extra time to find the best location of the modules and routing for the wires it went together very quickly. Works great, I noticed a difference immediately with my bike. The only down side is no mention in the instructions about a special socket needed for the O2 sensors which you can get at any auto parts store.

Dynojet Auto tune

Great product yet the instructions for use are a bit vague. Also would like to see an application for a mac.
