Product Information

Bridgestone BT-090 Battlax High Performance Front Tire

Refined by using the latest technologies from Bridgestone, the BT-090 is perfect for aggressive riding on both circuit and street. The rigidity of the tire induces better contact feel in corners, especially for slide control during races. The new compound and pattern offer improved grip and handling in both wet and dry conditions, with better high speed stability and anti-shimmy performance ensuring a smooth ride.

  • High grip compound for middle-size class motorcycles
  • Maintains high grip level from start to finish regardless of the temperature
  • The unique pattern design optimizes both vertical and horizontal rigidity of the tire. Less grooves on the tread edge for better dry grip and machine control in corner, and more grooves in the center area for better wet performance
  • Higher rigidity in sidewall area increases the grip in corners
  • Better slide control for easier "line" tracing
  • Improved high speed stability and anti shimmy for better street-riding performance

good tires

I own a wr250x the bike came stock with them . if your thinking of buying a size 150 avon for the rear..dont it will cause all kinds of problems. The BT battle axes are the way to go for best traction and life . first set lasted me 3.5 riding seasons and the corner ability is perfect for this bike even jumped and landed these tires hard and they seem to keep going..i will be buying these again in the future.

Good affordable tire

Bought this for my 2006 KTM 625 SMC since it was one of the cheapest options I could find in my desired size. So far it's been a good tire, most of my experience has been limited to dry tarmac though. I cannot tell if it's because of this specific tire, or because it's just a new tire but the grip (especially in the bends) is really good. Would definitely recommend.

WR250X

I have 17,000 miles on my WR250X with the original BT090 front tire. I am impressed that it has lasted this long without having to change it till now. I have had on average 4,000 miles out of the rear BT090, maybe if I’m easier on the bike the rear could last twice as long.

Good tire

I have approximately 44,000 miles on my WR250X. I changed my front BT-090 at 17,000 miles and I just put the third front on at 43,000 miles. This tire lasts surprisingly long, although the rear only lasts around 4,000 miles. I have not tried another tire to compare it with.

A Great Tire

This is the stock front-tire for the Yamaha WR250X supermoto. I have over 7000 miles on it and it is still in excellent condition. It handles well in both wet and dry conditions and it is very stable. My next front tire will certainly be another BT-090.
