    705'S ON A TRIUMPH TIGER 800

GREAT for tight twisty road work. Scraped down the foot peg feelers on the tiger. Hi speed stability is compromised- bike now "wobbles" at high speeds when I put these tires on, but that is too fast any way. Need to be gentle on the throttle on wet pavement. I have had multiple near slide outs in the rain. Really its the best dollar/mile I've spent for tires in a while, I just need to remember that "economical" price limits overall capablilities.

    SHINKO 705 and Tiger 800

GREAT for tight twisty road work (I wore down the steel feelers on the 800 tiger). Pretty decent gravel back roads. I do have concerns with high speed stability- bike now wobbles at high speeds (thats too fast anyway). Need to be gentle on the throttle on wet pavement. Have had some kick outs in the rain (but again I was going faster than I should have been). Great tire for the price, best dollar per mile tire out there, I will buy them again.

    Great tire for the buck

I got about 7,000 miles out of this tire (rear) on a V-Strom 650 mostly on tarmac. I'm satisfied.

    Great BUT

Used on a Super Tenere that sees 80/20 street to dirt. I've been through two front tires which equals about two and a half rear tires. I get 4 to 5k from the rear. The first 3k is great for dirt roads, power lines and forest roads. No serious off-road except pack dirt trails. Dry street worthy from mile 0 through 5K. Reasonable manners when dry for all street riding including cornering. The BUT part of this tire is the VERY POOR traction during wet street riding.

Smooth and good traction on pavement. Very quiet tires. I'll do another review when I put a fair amount of miles on it.

    Shinko 705 rear tire

I've been buying these tires for several years now. I can't get better quality for the type of roads and weather I ride in. I also get 8k miles out of the rear and nearly double that out of the front.

    Shinko 705 series dual sport

Great tire, especially for the money. I have these on a '92 BMW R100. I've run Metzeler Tourance tires on it for years, and these perform just as well for about half the money. And ordering and shipping from Motorcycle Superstore was beyond awesome! I ordered them on a Wednesday and they were at my door within two days.

    Shinko 705 and the KLR650

This is a great tire for the KLR650, outlasts the stock tire by a wide margin. I currently have 6,500 mostly street miles on one and it still has tread left! I liked it so much that I put a matching front Shinko on recently. Also using these on another street bike with similar results. Great value tire and performs well!

This is my third tire Shinko rear tire. I get about 10,000 miles on the rear, and around 20,000 on the fronts. They are just fine for my riding style, and affordable.

Two thousand miles & so far I am impressed.....

Mostly pavement, some large diameter gravel forest service roads and some rutted washed out clay based abandoned roads. My 705 rear handled all of this very well and gave me enough bite to climb the DL650 over those huge smooth ruts without much loss of traction. So far not a whole lot of tread wear. Great tire for the money!

    street machine to offroad

Best tires ever. I am layed back by these....the big rubber adheres to the pavement, I am on rails...never had that with typical bald streets. Am confident that I am not going down, makes me a demon...all that on pavement, I went trail with them, confidence went up.

    R1100 GS TIRES

I put these tires on before I went to Alaska. They were great. For the money you can't beat them. I put 8,300 miles on the rear. The front is still very good. I just put a new rear on. I rode from Arizona to Alaska and back, 17 days in the rain on a fully loaded GS. The tires worked perfect. I could not tell the difference in the ride between a Metzler and this tire.

    VERY IMPRESSIVE!

I like my new back tire so much that I ordered a new front tire to match it for my Suzuki 650DR even though the front one doesn't need replacing yet! A very superb tire on all accounts!

    GREAT so far!

Put these on my 2013 Suzuki V-Strom 650 Adventure at the 5700 mile mark and I'm very pleased thus far. Mainly rode on the highway and these are sticky on pavement in dry conditions, uncertain of wet road travel. These "fall" into corners, which is surprising until about the 3rd curve then it becomes exciting! Off-road has just been mild gravel roads with small wash-outs in dry conditions and they have handled it all perfectly. I hope they hold up to all the positive reviews I've researched. As far as Motorcycle Superstore, they are the only people to deal with in my book!

Great pavement tire, very good gravel tire, decent dry-dirt/wet-sandy-gravel tire, not for mud.

I've used 705's on my Suzuki V-Strom (DL650) for a year and 15k miles and gone through 1 front and 3 rears. My riding is 75% pavement, 20% gravel roads, and 5% jeep trails. Pros: Great paved traction even while knee dragging. Blocky enough to cut through the loose stuff on many gravel roads (air down to ~25/29psi for better traction off-pavement). Cheap! Cons: Front makes a loud humming noise between 50-55mph. Rear tread life is ~6-7k miles of loaded touring (Front got ~15k miles).
