    Shinko 705 series dual sport

Great tire, especially for the money. I have these on a '92 BMW R100. I've run Metzeler Tourance tires on it for years, and these perform just as well for about half the money. And ordering and shipping from Motorcycle Superstore was beyond awesome! I ordered them on a Wednesday and they were at my door within two days.

    Shinko 705 and the KLR650

This is a great tire for the KLR650, outlasts the stock tire by a wide margin. I currently have 6,500 mostly street miles on one and it still has tread left! I liked it so much that I put a matching front Shinko on recently. Also using these on another street bike with similar results. Great value tire and performs well!

This is my third tire Shinko rear tire. I get about 10,000 miles on the rear, and around 20,000 on the fronts. They are just fine for my riding style, and affordable.

Two thousand miles & so far I am impressed.....

Mostly pavement, some large diameter gravel forest service roads and some rutted washed out clay based abandoned roads. My 705 rear handled all of this very well and gave me enough bite to climb the DL650 over those huge smooth ruts without much loss of traction. So far not a whole lot of tread wear. Great tire for the money!

Best tires ever. I am layed back by these....the big rubber adheres to the pavement, I am on rails...never had that with typical bald streets. Am confident that I am not going down, makes me a demon...all that on pavement, I went trail with them, confidence went up.

    R1100 GS TIRES

I put these tires on before I went to Alaska. They were great. For the money you can't beat them. I put 8,300 miles on the rear. The front is still very good. I just put a new rear on. I rode from Arizona to Alaska and back, 17 days in the rain on a fully loaded GS. The tires worked perfect. I could not tell the difference in the ride between a Metzler and this tire.

    VERY IMPRESSIVE!

I like my new back tire so much that I ordered a new front tire to match it for my Suzuki 650DR even though the front one doesn't need replacing yet! A very superb tire on all accounts!

    GREAT so far!

Put these on my 2013 Suzuki V-Strom 650 Adventure at the 5700 mile mark and I'm very pleased thus far. Mainly rode on the highway and these are sticky on pavement in dry conditions, uncertain of wet road travel. These "fall" into corners, which is surprising until about the 3rd curve then it becomes exciting! Off-road has just been mild gravel roads with small wash-outs in dry conditions and they have handled it all perfectly. I hope they hold up to all the positive reviews I've researched. As far as Motorcycle Superstore, they are the only people to deal with in my book!

Great pavement tire, very good gravel tire, decent dry-dirt/wet-sandy-gravel tire, not for mud.

I've used 705's on my Suzuki V-Strom (DL650) for a year and 15k miles and gone through 1 front and 3 rears. My riding is 75% pavement, 20% gravel roads, and 5% jeep trails. Pros: Great paved traction even while knee dragging. Blocky enough to cut through the loose stuff on many gravel roads (air down to ~25/29psi for better traction off-pavement). Cheap! Cons: Front makes a loud humming noise between 50-55mph. Rear tread life is ~6-7k miles of loaded touring (Front got ~15k miles).

I bought these tires for a wr250x. They are great both on pavement and gravel. I had to get used to them in mud, but are quite manageable there as well. I currently have 5,500 miles and the rear will be replaced soon.

    Love these tires!

I have gone through eight of these on the rear of my KLR 650. I love 'em. Wish they wore a little longer but at the price they are worth changing a lot.

    Damned good tire value

EVERY DESIGN IS A COMPROMISE. Get something; give something up. Want road performance? Gotta give up dirt perfomance. Want sticking capability? Gotta give up durability. This is a good dual-sport tire; fine on road and better than expected on dirt roads. They'll never perform like full knobbies. These tires don't last as long as would be ideal, but that's something I'm willing to trade for performance. All-in-all, this tire is a great value. That's why I'm buying it again.

    shinko 705

Put a front and rear shinko on 3 weeks ago at the beginning of my month long trip from MN to Newfoundland (the long way). Tires have held up (no separation yet) very good traction off road. The back is getting worn with 5,000 miles on them now, I wont make it home on this same tire, so I'm ordering one to be shipped to parents place in Arkansas. Overall a great tire for the price, but wears faster than the stock. Riding a Triumph Explorer.

    Did all things well.

I purchased a set of Shinko 705s for my 2012 Triumph Tiger 800XC and after completing a week long seven state eighteen hundred plus mile road trip I am happy to report that these tires performed perfectly. Part of the trip was US 129 better known as the Tail of the Dragon. 318 curves in 11 miles on a fully loaded adventure bike with a 285lb rider these tires worked great. Heavy rains in Georgia and North Carolina, no problems. Gravel forest service roads again no problems. Tread wear after 1800 plus miles looks non significant if any at all. Overall the Shinko 705s handled all road conditions and road surfaces extremely well and for less than $130 bucks you cant ask for much more.

    So far, so good!

Haven't had these tires on the bike long, but they inspire confidence in corners and offer a stable ride. Longevity has yet to be displayed so don't take the 5 star tread life for gospel yet.
