Speed and Strength--Moment of Truth mesh jacket

Air flow is great while moving. I prefer SPEED AND STRENGTH jackets due to the longer arms. The removable liner is good for cooler weather, seals in the heat.

    very nice,

Got the Speed-n-Strength jacket for myself as a xmas present. I needed something for hot weather riding. So far it has not been hot in northern Minnesota. My overall impression of the jacket is great fits true to size. Feels like it will flow a ton of air. Has armor in all the right places. The jacket looks great nice quality everything seem well put together. I can't speak for the durability yet. Worth every penny, Motorcycle Superstore had this on sale for a great price, too good to pass up. One word of caution if you have big Popeye like forearms like I do don't expect to get much for layers on your arms it is a bit tight.

    new replacement mesh

Where to start, the features are of higher end jackets, the adjustability in the sleeve, cuff, and waist are perfect for making the jacket fit your body type. I purchased this jacket to replace a MotoGP mesh that I've had for years and didn't hold up as expected during a 35 mph lowside. In comparison SS put full textile in the impact areas of the arm and body to make sure the jacket will hold during a fall. Also the ability to adjust the sleeve tension will help keep the armor in the right location. Upon inspecting the back protector pad that came with the jacket it isn't just a piece of foam but is the same quality as the Spidi back protector my brother bought aftermarket. I've ridden in this jacket in 90 + weather and in the low 60s without a problem, the quality of the liner is top notch as it has a rain flap to prevent water from just going through the zipper. I'm 5'11 198 lbs with an athletic build and a Large fit perfectly, it also has 2 loops at the back to secure to your belt to keep the tail of the jacket from exposing your lower back while riding. Another construction bonus is the zippers on the pockets on the front zip down instead of up so no need to struggle to close a pocket with one hand while waiting at a light. All in all i'm throughly impressed with what SS has done with this jacket....

    New favorite

This is my second SS product. I've been riding with this jacket since early June. I'm impressed with the cut and fit. Very comfortable, excellent range of movement, keeps it's shape and makes me look good. The mesh is in the center of the torso, front and back. Neck, shoulders, outside of arms and waist is textile. This frame keeps the mesh from slipping into that sloppy wrinkled look. I also have a TourMaster Draft. I like the SS product much better. Pockets are easily accessed and wind proof liner is included and easily stores under seat till needed. Some claim this is a lot like a Rocket. I have a Rocket, this is better.

    A New Favorite

Riding with this jacket since June , yeah, I'm a believer in ATGATT. This is my second Speed & Strength jacket. I really appreciate the fit and construction. Very comfortable riding or walking. The textile "frame" holds the mesh in shape and gives a confident feel as if wearing a much more protective jacket. Receive compliments constantly. Adjustability abounds. SS got it right with armor placement and it doesn't slide around. You'll be very pleased. A handsome and functional garment.

Speed and Strength - Moment of Truth Mesh Jacket

This jacket is nice!! I was worried about the fit because I am 6 '5' with really long arms, but the XL works fine. The liner folds up small enough to tuck away in the trunk or even put in the pocket. This jacket works well in any temperature between 55 and HOT, depending on whether or not you have the liner in it. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a jacket to get you through the entire riding season. You put a sweatshirt under this and you can ride in 35-40 weather with no problems. I can’t say how it holds up if you hit the pavement and hopefully I don’t have to find out, but I feel more secure with it & can hardly imagine riding any distance more than a few miles without it.
