Pretty easy to install. I'm kind of a perfectionist so making sure all my holes were perfectly drilled was a little frustrating, but after all was said and done, it looks MUCH better than stock and performs perfectly well.

Very nice fit and finish. The template to help you drill actually works as intended. Had no issues mounting on a XR650R. Looks fantastic! Can't say anything negative about it. Totally recommend.

The installation takes trial and error since it doesn't come with holes since it is universal. It is a little short and fades pretty quick. I prefer the KTM SM fender, same price and seems to be higher quality.

Good fitting, aerodynamic design, great quality. I purchased it as a replacement for an OEM ginormous vulture beak that made KLR unstable at high speeds, strong winds especially with knobby tiers and generated scary tank slappers. This product greatly improved the stability of the bike and fit like a glove with only minor modifications for a flush fit with EagleMike stabilizer fork brace. Overall I would recommend it.

fender is no good. Basically the plastic is so hard, you can't drill through it correctly and it will crack down the middle. No good.

This fender has been great, but the installation was a hassle. The wiring harness that runs over the factory fender will not fit in this fender. I just wallowed out a larger, longer groove. Now that the fender is installed it works well. It catches less wind, allows more air flow to the motor. Just be ready to wipe mud and water off your mask often when off-road. Also, the motor will get caked with mud, as it is not protected like with the factory fender.
Use DR400 Sticker Drilling Values for 2004 DR650SE.

Hello Fellow Bike Enthusiasts, The helpful drilling guide sticker included with this fender shows a variety of bike model spacing options for drilling your mounting holes, but not the ones required for a 2004 DR650. If you use the spacing values given for fender mounting on a Suzuki DR400, that will work perfectly for drilling the holes to mount your 2004 DR650 fender. Enjoy the Ride, Friends!
