I needed a good frame to start with. I then modified it for my 75 Lbs electronic scooter. It now fits my 1 1/4" receiver and is 14" shorter. My only complaint was the sharp edges. Easy to fix. I just ground them down. Good delivery.

I really like this carrier. I have 4 bikes and needed room in my truck for all our gear. This seemed like the best option. It holds my YZ250 just fine. I am glad I purchased the loading ramp. Still trying to figure out the best tie down configuration. I just ordered some wheel straps which should work perfect with this. Instructions were not the best but it isn't rocket science putting this together.

I’ve had this thing for almost a month now and it works great. When going though sharp turns and big bumps in the road sometimes I feel like the bike is going to fall off if you don't use 4 straps but it hasn't yet and I only use 2. Also I would buy expensive strap downs for the bike. One of the things I didn't like is that you can’t put the bike on the carrier by yourself without a ramp. I bought the accessory ramp; it’s nice, about 3ft long and attaches nicely to the carrier without getting in the way. I would buy this product again and recommend it to a friend.
Works great with my Vespa LX150

Used it to transport my Vespa scooter from New York to Wisconsin with a Chrysler minivan, worked great! Easy to assemble/attach. Highly recommend, especially for the price :) Bought the ramp too, which is nice for getting the bike on the carrier.

This cycle carrier is good value for money but the one downside is you will have to purchase straps for tying down your bike. I would have thought, considering what you pay for the carrier they would have included a couple of straps. Ease of fit and time to fit it were good, it took 20 minutes to fit the carrier to our RV. The instructions could have been just a bit more detailed. On our first trip out we almost lost the bike off the carrier only because the instructions failed to tell you the safest way of anchoring down your bike and that was to solely attach the straps to the carrier and not to the RV. Apart from that the carrier is a good product and we would recommend it to anyone.

This product is perfect for anybody that doesn’t have access to a truck or a trailer. But I think it should come with a ramp

Please recommend size and type of tie-down for the carrier. For this much money, tie-downs should be included.

I was a little leary about trying this out with my brand new bike. After the first time my bike never moved perfect for the rider with no storage or pickup truck.
I would definately recommend this to anyone in need of an alternate to a trailer.
