The graduations are molded in so they can't dissolve off with gasoline. I use it as a measuring cup. It is graduated from 2 to 18 ounces and from 50 to 500 cc.

Ratio Rite Measuring Cup
I purchased one of these many years ago for Motorcycle, small engine and automotive use. It was durable enough to last for over 20 years. The only reason I'm looking for a new one is that my Son is serving in the Military over in Germany, and asked me to send him one. I sent him mine and now I find that I can't live without one! These cups take all the guess work out of measuring and conversions. It's a "must" for any shop or garage !
