Bill Endicott,  NY Motion Pro - Chain Riveting Tool This was my first time using a chain riveting tool. The Motion Pro operated as advertised and did a great job breaking the old chain and riveting the new 525 chain on my CBR600. At times a second pair of hands comes in handy especially during the riveting portion of the job.

Sam Crowell Klamath Falls,  OR Excellent Tool I purchased this tool set despite some negative reviews. I have been very pleasantly surprised by what I found. The tool worked perfect without any problems, issues, or breakage. The instruction sheet illustration, which could be confusing, may have led some people to assemble the tool improperly which would lead to some of the noted issues. I also made sure to fully grind away the head of a pin with a Dremel tool. Correctly assembled and used with proper technique this tool worked wonderfully and I expect to get many years of use from it.

Lee Estes Milford,  Northwest Motion Pro Chain tool The pin extractor broke the second time I used it. Yes, I did grind off the heads both times before using it. And the riveting tool broke the first time I used it. Its clear the quality of the metal used in these parts is inferior. As to the review which says it was just "great" as long as everything is lined up just perfect, well the tolerances of the parts are so sloppy you can't keep it lined up.

Chris Taylor Modesto,  GA Motion Pro Chain Riveting Tool This was a total waste of money. I needed to rivet a 530 chain, and the tool broke twice. The outer alignment bolt broke twice while tightening the inner rivet pin bolt. I never even got the first rivet done.

Robert Hillsboro,  PA Motion Pro Chain riveting tool I wouldn’t recommend this tool for larger drive chain riveting. I tried it on a 530 chain and the center pushed out of the anvil while trying to set the second rivet. Spend the extra for the Jumbo tool if you’re working on larger chain, I ended up borrowing one from a friend and it worked great.

Chris (SHORTZ) Thomas Montgomery Village,  NJ Review of Motion Pro chain riviting tool The Motion Pro chain riveting tool is one of the best on the market. Some of the pieces are fragile but if everything is installed correctly the riveting tool works great. As far as Motion Pro riveting tool I would say it is by far the best riveting chain tool I have ever used.
