It is obvious that these tire irons are put to the test on many different rim sizes, paint qualities, and metal hardness's. To help my tire's bead slip on the scooter's little 12" aluminum wheel-rims with the least amount of paint tearing I slicked them up with olive oil. With an indoor tire temp of 70 degrees, both feet standing on the sidewalls, and with fingers and forks manipulating all pressure points at the same time, I was "back in the saddle faster again". : )

First use, the larger iron bent in half, the smaller ones are useless on a motorcycle tire. Maybe good for a bicycle. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Great set of tire irons, works as described. I used them to put Avon AM63 Viper Stryke tires, front and back, on my ninja 250 with ease. If you're careful, you don't even have to use rim protectors on aluminum wheels.

They work great but I prefer to have a couple of the long 16' size for hard tires. I recently took a tire off that was very stubborn and the short irons weren't very useful. The long one has just the right bends and size.

They do the trick. I bought an extra-long tire iron like the long one in the set, glad I did. I would strongly suggest getting the plastic rim protectors, too. Changing my Sportster back tire wasn't a big deal. Save yourself the bucks and do them yourself!

Bought these to change out a XR100 rear tire. I watch a Do-it-Yourself video on youtube, and did it. Didnt nick or scratch my rim and got the tire on. Pretty basic design but effective. Buy Motion Pro products with confidence as they never let me down.
