Tim Keller,  TX Bully - Billet Steel Alarm Disc Lock Bought this lock for a trip I was taking, wanted some additional insurance while sleeping in unknown hotels, alarm is loud enough, and the lock is absolutely strong enough to allow me to limit my worries during sleep or at the pub.

Mike Germantown,  MD Solid disc lock This is a solid compact little unit. Not too heavy. The alarm could be louder, but it definitely audible and sounds different than a car alarm. So hopefully it will draw attention.

Kleetz towson,  MD Rest easier Very self-explanatory item. Put it on and sleep a little easier. Worth the 60$ bucks. That being said, it's really not that loud. I keep my bike outside my apartment window, so at night I’d hear it go off. In the day, forget about it. I also did a test to see how sensitive it is. It's really not. I mean one would have to try to rip it off or have the bike move significantly for it to go off. That may be due to where its placed on the rotor I don't know, but I tried high and low and it’s all the same. To give an example, if someone sat on the bike it wouldn't go off. Personally, I’d like it to. All in all, if you are concerned about your bike being taken...Get this no questions asked. You'll sleep a little bit easier.

James Graverholt Stanwood,  WA Alarm? The lock part of this unit is very good. The special key would make it very hard to pick. However, the alarm is pretty much worthless. It isn't loud enough to hear anymore than 100ft away. In a noisy area, it wouldn't even be noticed up close.

Richard Brownwood,  TX Safe and Secure This device gives you a little more peace of mind knowing that if someone wants to steal your bike they are going to have to work at it much harder than stealing one without it. If I were a thief and saw one of these on a bike, I would move on and look for another target. It is definitely a solid heavy lock. The lock does have a tendency to start sticking and getting difficult to open with the key after being used for awhile. A quick shot of WD-40 or some graphite fixes that problem. I am going to order another one for my girl friends bike.

Richard Novotny Brownwood,  TX Good Lock Just received this lock a couple of days ago. Installed it immediately as I was leaving town for the day. Nice to have that sense of added security. As for the lock itself. You can tell that it is a heavy duty lock just by the weight of it. The keys, you get 3, are a snug fit in the lock itself and you have to get it in just perfect before it will unlock. Another thing is if you have it armed to make the piercing noise, when unlocking the lock the piercing noise will go off when your head is just inches away from it. It stops when you unlock it but the noise will hurt your ears for a couple seconds.
