I was going to make my own, but it was worth the money to just by one. If you have a stock 4x4 this should work great. I have a 5" lift and the ramp is too short. But it was worth it for me to make it easier to load and unload. I also like the fact that you can fold it in half and fit it in your 8 ft. bed and still close the tailgate. It would be great if they made a longer ramp for lifted pickups.
