Probably works better with a soft grip!!
I bought this product because my grip was loose and would spin in circles! I applied the Scott’s and waited 24 hrs. When I came back my grip was still loose and it seemed not to work. I took the grip off and put down a new coat of the Scott’s hoping that it would bond better. The next morning when I checked, it had worked and I have not had a problem with it yet. So I guess 2 coats worked fine but that was a metal grip to plastic. A different type of grip would probably work better.
