Pros: lets you see what your filming, video playback, photo playback view, playback with sound.
Cons: Shorter battery life with use. 1 button for settings. Price.
Overall a great add-on which comes in Handy.

Great addition to a great product. Just be aware if you leave the LCD display on while using the GoPro, you battery life is cut in half.

Used the camera, LCD screen and Backpak battery in very cold conditions both mountain biking and snowboarding. Worked great....ZERO ISSUES OR COMPLAINTS!!!

Had the BackPac for exactly a week, when it caused an error on the camera and neither would work! Had to return both to GoPro for warranty service, (I had to pay for shipping!) and wait two weeks to get the repaired items back. I think they have yet to work out the bugs on this item.

Really helps the camera. You can now see what you are filming and you can play it back as well. Lots of mounting cases included. I like it.

It makes it much easier to see and understand what I'm selecting. I can even get by without my reading glasses - so far.
