Nick Bethesda,  MD Acerbis - Uniko Handguards I put these on a DRZ400SM. They look cool and provide a little bit of wind/rain protection, and might stop some small branches, however mounting them up on a duel sport that has full handle bar controls is not really functional. I finally got them in an okay position, but I had to move my clutch lever in towards the middle of the bar and it's not the ideal place for it. A whole lot cheaper than the Zeta handguards, but the Zeta guards are a better fit and are functional, so depends what you are looking for.

Jon Tustin,  CA Acerbis - Uniko Handguards I was looking for some hand protection on my naked bike, an Aprilia Tuono, from the cold and damp air. These filled the bill. The air is still now in front with only stream of passing over the top/back of my hands. They required some cutting into the plastic mounting brackets to allow for clearance of a nut on the underside of my levers, but the adjustment was easy and I can't imagine it substantially undermines the assembly. For my purposes, these filled the bill and they look great.

Tom Warner Mt. Pleasant,  PA Good Value The first set I bought held up so well even after a crash I bought a second set for the backup bike. The price was right and there were no fit issues.

Steve Hill Basalt,  CO OK, But Minimal Protection You get what you pay for. Do not expect these hand guards to protect bar ends, bars, levers, or other hardware. They are solely suited to shielding hands against whacks from light to medium branches and other brushy stuff. If you read the product specs carefully, you will be made aware of this. The clamps are soft and will probably withstand a good hit without splitting. If they do, they are cheap to replace. Again: these are MINIMAL protection and engineered well for their purpose: To prevent knuckle stings.

Nate Camino,  CA Hand gaurds A great product. My only complaint is I had to rotate my brake lever up a little to get the guard where I wanted it. Installation was easy and they look sharp.
