Alpha Guards very nice!
I have used these on three rides varying from 1-2 hrs each time. Very good fit under riding pants. I hardly notice them while riding, but feel more protected. I have not experienced a fall yet, but construction is solid and secure. These are fairly big guards with full coverage, but that is what I was looking for. Recommend!

Best of the pack!
I have an e-shopping habit of ordering stuff of the same type from different brands to try them on and see what fits and functions, keeping the best and returning the rest. This time I ordered Answer, 661 (ricochet), Thor (Force and Quadrant) and Alpinestars (bionic). Bionic, quadrant and ricochet are very much alike - the problem is they have big knee cup and no protection on top of the knee. Force is somewhat bulky, although sturdy (my runner up). Fastening system is worst in thor quadrant - just few straps which barely hold the guard on the shin. As the result I chose Answer - functional ergonomics, nice build. I don't know if they would survive more than one serious crash, but my guess is protection is designed to absorb the punishment instead of staying intact and passing the impact force to my soft flesh and bones =)

Alpha Knee A+_
Light weight, good fit. Not excellent. I'd buy again. As a precaution I took the screws out and added loktite.

Mandatory protection
These knee guards are the best money can buy and I won't ride without them. Fit is perfect, even for smaller riders (I am a 5'7" 125 pound female) and they have plenty of adjustability in the straps for larger riders. The double pivot feature is well-designed and foam backing is very comfortable. The only improvement would be a soft felt cover for the inner pivot screws as they will destroy your tank graphics in one ride if you are wearing riding shorts or are wearing them outside of your riding pants. My solution is covering them with soft velcro self-adhesive patches. Otherwise a great product.

answer racing, alpha knee guards
I think they are great knee pads. They stay in place the whole time you ride. (Unlike the fox knee pads) They are as close as to knee brace as you can get, without paying $300. The only problem I have had was that, the center knee pad came off on both sides for some reason. I re-glued them and haven’t had a problem since then. All in all I would recommend them to everyone.

Good fit around shin/knee, but knee padding is small
I just got these guards and even though they fit right on the knee and shin, I don't like the padding on the knee area. It is very small. If you even sit on your knees, you can feel the plastic parts of the knee guard hitting your knee as the knee cap extends. The padding is way too narrow and only protects the patella (knee cap), but not the whole knee. In other words, the upper part of the Tibia bone (bone below knee cap when you bend your knee) hits directly on the plastic because the knee padding is very narrow.

Best kneepads I've ever had
Great quality. They're very protective and sturdy. They form to your knee and shin really well. My knees hyper extend, so there's a little problem with negative pitch, but if you're not an alien like me, then you'll love them. They fit great under or over dirt bike pants.

Alpha knee guards
I love these things! I have skinny legs so naturally the “one size fits most” never fits me. I found a great use for these though. I use them on my street bike outside of my JR Steel Jeans. They work great! They have fantastic articulation (and bend way more than needed for sport bike), great coverage, and the bonus is they stay in place and keep my jeans in place too! No more tugging at my jeans when pulling away from stoplight. The “set and forget” attachments? Genius! So easy to get on and off. I LOVE 'em!
