  • When you’re waiting at the gate and the adrenalin is pumping, you probably won’t be thinking about the scratch-resistant LEXAN® lens that gives you a wide-open view of the track. Or the triple-layer face foam that wicks away your sweat. Or the competition ready design that includes a non-slip silicone treated strap and a mounting interface for Oakley laminated tearoffs, the most advanced tearoff system on the planet (sold separately).   • When Oakley designs goggles, protection is at the forefront. The most stringent impact testing is called ANSI Z87.1. The High Velocity test uses a stainless steel ball traveling at 172 mph. The High Mass test uses a 500-gram conical tipped missile dropped from a height of 50 inches. Drop Ball is a test that targets the lens with a 1-inch steel ball from a height of 50 inches, and the Penetration test uses a 44-gram #25 needle dropped from 50 inches.

Contoured frame architecture provides a continuous seal against dust and debris while allowing moisture to wick away from the skin. Nate Armstronge Sumner,  WA Great Goggles I have the RC Goggle. Which, if I'm not mistaken are the same thing just with a different colorway. They do tend to fog quite easily under really wet or damp conditions, but so long as you keep moving this really isn't an issue. And once you do start moving, they clear quickly. I have had my goggles for maybe a little over a year. One of the tear off posts has fallen out and my foam layers have started separating from one another. But, then again, in the Pacific Northwest those goggles are exposed to a lot of moisture. Good goggles, planning on getting a second pair. Just keep them dry and clean.

Tony Kendallville,  Nova Scoti Great These are great goggles! The keep me cool while I'm riding during the summer and they keep my face warm during the winter when I'm riding. I love this goggle. I have a blue, red, and two carbon fiber pair. I'm hoping to be able to get some of those new silver ones for christmas.
