Klim - Chinook Pants - Highly recommend!!!
These were purchased to replace a pair of Thor Core riding pants and that is what I am basing my comparison on. The Klim pants are SUPERIOR hands down! They are lighter than, as comfortable as a pair of sweat pants, have excellent venting and waist adjustability. The pockets also come in handy as well. My first ride in these pants was in an enduro race, in Florida 90 degree heat, and the vents kept me nice and cool.

In a word: Awesome
Just took these pants on a ride to and around the Alpine Loop in SW Colorado. It was an epic ride with rain, snow, hot sun and these pants handled all the conditions unbelievably well. They are heavy duty with zipper-regulated venting. A quick stand on the pegs and a complete air exchange in about 3-5 seconds. My only complaint is that one of the thigh zippers jammed with some of the perforated venting fabric stuck in the zipper slider. I've tried and tried, but just can't seem to 'unstuck' it. These were pricey pants compared to the others, but it was well worth the cost to get some MX-type riding gear that didn't look like a Nascar jump suit.

Klim - Chinook Pants
These pants fit really well and are almost water-proof (I sprayed them with water repellent to make them completely water-proof). I wore them mud bogging and deep forest terrain riding and they held up really well so far. I liked them so much I bought a 2nd pair!
