I wear ear plugs or use earbuds that fully seat in the ear canal to calm the violent wind noise. I have tinnitus and this helmet amplifies the ringing and buzzing. The visor keeps the bugs out and my eyes open but when combined with sunglasses it distorts and changes perception of color. Would I recommend it...well there's not a lot of other options for dual sport helmets under $100 so yeah, buy it.

Fits my round head, visor clear, venting seems to work, only drive around town so max 45 mph, I open visor a little for more air, no deflector for breathing, so it fogs slightly, if I mouth breath, no problem.

Great helmet! The peripheral vision is AMAZING. Great in the rain because of the angle of the shield. I absolutely love this helmet. If you tilt your head properly, this helmet works past 100mph without any problems...You should wear ear plugs as it is a little louder than my last AFX helmet, but I suppose it's due to the more airflow this helmet has. I can't wait to try it out in the Winter! Great helmet at a great price even at Retail.

I never liked wearing goggles with my off-road helmets...felt like blinders on. Now I get an unobstructed view of objects to the side and less sweating around the eyes.

On sale for a reason...
Order my size per AFX size chart and helmet fit was too small. I should have ordered at least a size larger. The lens distorts terribly right in line with ones field of view. It is not a small distortion either you will have about a 3" diameter area that will warp everything you see. I wouldn't take this helmet if someone gave it to me for free. Kudos to Moto-superstore for a no hassle return though.

Like it fine after modding a little
I read many of these reviews so kind of knew what to expect. Ordered the size indicated from their chart and it was way to tight on my forehead. Being an old hand at grinding foam, I snapped loose the lining from the front and ground maybe 3/16 out for my forehead. Now fits just like I want, snug and no wobble around. If I had not been willing to do this I would have had to return it and I would not have ordered next larger size as I feel it woudn't have fit my narrow head well. I wanted the visor to come lower so made a simple extension out of cheap polyethylene sheeting which goes from the visor detent screw, loops around the top of the visor and back to detent. Visor now several degrees lower and the mod gives me a couple of degrees of manual adjustment on the fly. Most of you people can find some cheap plastic to cut up and punch a couple holes in to do this. I ride street only with this helmet. Long time rider who appreciates a LIGHT WEIGHT helmet and this one IS THAT. The wind takes it a little when you turn your head but figure that's the price of having a nice long visor. I wanted a full face WITH a sun visor and liked the looks of this one and felt I could work with it. Ordered white color but I note that the picture of the white one shows the inner molding where the shield seals as white. Nope, it's black like the others. I'm very happy with this helmet as I now have it fit to me. Very minor distortion runs up and down the center of vision and is very narrow. I'm already used to it. The field of view is great and my shield seals well.

I am thrilled with this new helmet. It has exactly the features I wanted and the price is fantastic. Comparable helmets were all close to 5 times as much, so this is a great bargain. It fits me perfectly, better than I had hoped. I plan to get another one for my wife. And the service was great too!

Good DP helmet
I use mine for gravel road riding on my XR650R. I really like the helmet. My only complaint is that when I turn my head to the right or left, the wind tends to catch the helmet and kind of whip my head further to right or left, but you get used to it. Good summer helmet.
